The next couple of days that follow were all perfect. Nagkaroon na ulit ng bagong kapalit si Tommy para sa cheerdance competition and i was able to show them the new choreographed dance, nagtaka pa ang mga kasama niya how did she choreograph some steps that fast without someone to practice it with. They didn't know she had a handsome lifter-partner every night in their old Ballroom hall.

Sumasayaw siya sa harap ni Nick at gumagawa ng mga letra gamit ang kanyang paa at kamay. They were in that old beach again in the outskirt of town after school. Tumatawa si Nick na tumayo sa pagkakaupo sa buhangin at ginaya ang ginawa ni Say.

"Please beg for it, boy..." nanunudyo niyang niyang sagot dito.
"Halika rito! Sasabuyan kita ng tubig!"
"Haha! Noo! Haha mababasa ang uniform ko Nick!"
Busy man sa trabaho sa bayan at pati sa school ay nagkikita sila ni Nick bawat hapon, right before and after her cheerdance practice. Lagi silang magkasama, minsan kapag hindi nakatingin ang mga kasama niyang cheerdancers ay pinupuntahan niya ito sa Janitor's quarter ng gym at niyayakap or sometimes they sneak to the rooftop and spent the whole night talking about anything in the world or kung hindi man ay binabalikan nila ang beach na dating pinuntahan.
"Nay, para kanino ho yang dala mong midnight snacks?"

Subsob sa school research paper si Say nang bumukas ang pinto.
"Salamat Nay Sabin -- Nick!"
"Food for for you to eat and a man for you to get inspired...Or pwedeng baliktarin mo yun. Either of that."
"Food for me to get inspired and a man to..." Say laughed hard with her boyfriend's naughty remarks. " Nick ha!" kinurot niya ito bago kunin ang tray ng pagkaing dala. Niyakap naman siya nito in exchange of her kurot.
"Joke lang. Sege kumain ka na at mag-aral. Gumawa lang ako ng rason to see you. I want to see you last before i sleep. Goodnight, my queen..." Hawak na nito ang doorknob ng kwarto niya at akma ng aalis.
She tiptoed to prepare for his kiss. Pero nakangiti lang ito sa kanya. "No goodnight kiss?"
"I want to. Pero wag na, nasa kwarto ka. Beyond enemy lines. And my poor heart is too easy to fall prey with enemy no.1 - the deadly charm of Samantha Yvette De Plaza. Baka hindi na ako umalis at matulog sa ibang kwarto. Kaya I am going. See you tomorrow sa school."
"Coward..."
He blew her some flying kiss instead and walked.
