I woke up to my alarm.
"Ka- oh. Micah is here" my momma said
"Okay" i replied
"You know, he seems better than Shawn.. just sayin" she said
She winked and then walked out closing my door. I chuckled and got up. I took care of my hygiene and did my hair after I got dressed.
"Bye momma. Bye daddy!" I said giving them each a hug and a kiss
Maybe I should tell Micah how this works. I walked outside and to his car. I opened the car door and got in.
"Goodmorning" i said
"Wassuh" he replied
"Soooo i feel the need to tell you this, every morning I walk to the bus stop with Nae and Lani as we wait for one of the boys to pick us up. Soo Yeah just wanted to let you know." I said
"Ight" he said dryly
He seemed a littlee off today. I pulled my phone out and texted Nae and Lani.
Me: soo i got a ride from Micah
Bestiee🧡: okieee
BestBihh🤩: wtf? You ride with us everytime why u ride with him td?
Bestiee🧡: Nae you know he new to this he didnt know
Me: yeah and besides he wanted to be nice
BestBihh🤩: fine w.e
I shook my head. Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I put my phone in my lap and looked at Micah who was awfully quiet.
"You okay?" I finally spoke up
"Yeah. Why?" He asked
"You just look mad or something." I told him
"Oh nah. Im straight" he said dryly
I began to stare at him. Thats my way of getting things out of people. He looked at me then back at the road as he began to smile
