"Mommmaa!!" I yelled
My mom stayed home from work today. It was day 2 of suspension and she wanted to spend time with me because she has to go out of town tomorrow for her job.
"Yes!" She yelled back
I got up and walked out my room and downstairs finding that she was in the living room. I took a seat next to her
"Can we get sushi?" I asked
"Sure child." She chuckled. "You are my daughter"
"Yup! We both eat atleast 10 times a day" i smiled
She shook her head grabbing her keys.
"Im thinking about taking you to get your drivers license too" she said
I froze. Did she just say what I think she did? I mean I heard it. But was it real or are my ears deceiving me.
"Swear?!" I said
"I mean your 16. We trust you. Lehlani and them not a bad influence on you. Oh, and why you aint tell me June fought Shawn?" She asked
"Bhet! And how you find out?" I asked
"Kayla, June and Jacory acts as if they were my sons." She said putting on her PINK holographic slides
I put my fluffy slides on and shrugged. She was right. When they come over, they always in her face. My dad likes them too. They be hanging out in his little man cave.
We walked outside. My momma locked the doors as I continued to walk to the car. I stood at the door with my hand on the handle. She walked over unlocking the doors. I hopped in and she joined. We put our seatbelts on and she clicked the start button then pulled out the driveway and off to the sushi place.
I plugged my phone in the aux.
"I want you to tell me what happened when we get back" she said
"Yes Ma'am" i said highly
I began to play her favorite song my Cuban Doll.
"Hunnit bands times a hunnit bands. Can you get it? Aint no runnin man. Keep a hunnit rounds we gon get em. Ian never gave a fuck about a bitch. Cause Im bigger and Im better. Keep a Smith & Wessun we can do whatever aye." She rapped
