Walking into school I could feel everyone judging me. I was the school joke. I could feel the tears forming as I ran to the toilets for cover. As I sat there, just wishing the ground would open up and swallow me, just so I didn’t have to go through this day. I could hear girls giggling and whispering about me. I wish I had never fallen for that jerk Josh. He just used me to get to Brielle. How could I have been so stupid to think I could he would have ever been interested in me? He is the school heartthrob and im a nobody.

“Em? Emily? Are you in here? Please come talk to me!”

I knew that voice. It was my best friend Tara. We had best friends since forever and she knew everything about me. Even stuff I didn’t want her to!

“Don’t worry about that dick. I never liked him anyway”

She was the perfect person to talk to. We talked for a few hours. I still wasn’t ready to face everyone. As we walked out of the toilet I was just happy it was already 3rd period so I thought I wouldn’t run into anyone, but it looks like I was mistaken. I turned the corner and I felt like I had just been hit by a bus. I groaned as I hit the floor.

“I am so sorry. Are you ok?”

I looked up and saw a boy a little taller than me, about my age with brown curly hair and the most beautiful green eyes I had ever seen. And he had the most adorable English accent.

“I’m, I’m fine. Sorry, I should have been watching where I was going.”

‘No that was all me. My names Harry. I just moved here from Cheshire in England.”

“Hi. I’m Emily. Welcome to Australia. Well I must go. See you later.”

“Bye”

As Tara and I walked away I couldn’t help but think about Harry. He was so cute, and had an amazing smile. I turned around and he smiled at me. I couldn’t help but smile back.
