"Dude I'm worried about her. She's been in there for hours." Beastboy said taking the popcorn bowl from Cyborg. "That's the way she was before. She's probably just getting settled in." "Should I just go check on her? Just to make sure she's okay." "You do what you want. I'll be right here. She might not have her powers back but i bet she can still be as angry." He smirked. Beastboy rolled his eyes and walked out of the living room. He walked up to her door and knocked softly. "Hey Rae, I was just wondering if you were okay. I haven't heard from you in a while." He didn't hear anything. He softly opened the door. "Raven, Rae..." His stomach dropped. He looked on the bed and saw Raven with a bloody razor in her hand. Her eyes were rolling around the room and she had a long cut down her forearm. She was collapsed on the bed with tears coming down her cheek. "No, no no..." He said as he ran up to her side and lifted her head from the pillow. She rested her head against his chest.He sat on the bed and held her close to his chest. "GUYS I NEED HELP NOW!" He screamed. He looked down at her and she was crying quietly. He saw her blood soaking his uniform and he panicked. He tore his sleeve off of his uniform and wrapped it around her arm to try to stop the bleeding. "I'm...I'm scared." She said through her tears. "You're gonna be okay. Don't be scared. It's okay." He said softly to her as he stroked her hair. She started sobbing as she nuzzled into his chest. "I don't wanna be here anymore..." She mumbled. "GUYS NOW!" He shouted as loud as he could. Cyborg and Robin came through the door. "What in the hell happened!?" "I...I walked into her room and...and I saw her like this...on her bed." Beastboy said as a tear came down his cheek. "We need to get her to the med wing now!" Beastboy picked her up bridal style and ran as fast as he could. As soon as they got there he laid her on the hospital bed. " I knew she shouldn't be alone. It was too soon." Robin said getting the gauze. Beastboy stayed beside her and tried to keep her calm. "I'm...I'm sorry." She said to them. She felt so ashamed. She didn't want anyone to find her trying to kill herself. "It's okay. You don't need to apologize." He said softy. The other two came beside her and Cyborg picked up her arm gently. "This cut is too deep. It needs stitches." Cyborg got the needle and the string. "Now this isn't gonna feel the greatest. Grab on to Robins hand and squeeze it as hard as you need too." Cyborg said to her softly. He grabbed her arm and lined up the needle with her cut. As soon as he poked the needle into her sore skin she hissed in pain. She squeezed Robin's gloved hand tightly. Beastboy sat in the back of the room. He couldn't stand to see her in so much pain. After a few painful minutes he was finally done with her arm. He bandaged it up. All of the sudden the crime alert went off. "What are we gonna do with her?" Cyborg asked Robin as they both looked at her in the bed. "I'll stay here, you guys go!" Beastboy shouted as he got up and sat in the chair next to the bed. They both nodded as they ran out of the door. After they left she looked at him with her deep violet eyes. She felt weak from the lack of blood but she was forcing herself to stay awake. "I'm so sorry." She said as her eyes filled with tears. "It's okay." He smiled softly at her. "What happened Rae?" "I don't know..." "If you tell me. I won't tell anyone. I just wanna help. It's not good keeping things like that to yourself." He said as he grabbed her limp hand. He stroked it with his thumb softly. " I don't know... I just wanted it all to stop. The flashbacks, the bad thoughts... everything. I didn't want to die. But I didn't want to live either." "I get it. I totally do. I felt that way when I left the Doom Patrol." She noticed his eyes held fear and sadness. She gave his hand a tight squeeze. "Do you wanna talk about your past? I mean you don't have too. But it was a thought." He smiled a sad smile at her. "Sure um... when I was younger I was kidnapped to do terrible things. Kind of like what you had to go through. I wasn't sexually abused though like you were. Only physically. The people who took me made me use my powers for crime and when I disobeyed... well let me show you." He unzipped the back of his uniform to show his back. He turned around and she saw huge scars going down his back. It made her heart ache to know what he went through. After a few moments he zipped his shirt back up. He turned around and saw she had tear stains down her cheek. Before he could saw anything else she wrapped her arms around his neck. He smiled and hugged her back. "I'm sorry." She mumbled. "It's okay. That's done and over with. I'm okay now." He said softly. She let go of him. "Do you still have parents?" She asked him. Now that she thought about it she doesn't even know that much about him. "They uh... died in a boat accident a long time ago. I was 5 or something like that. How about you?" "You already know about Trigon. My mom is still in Azarath. She doesn't wanna talk to me." "That sucks. Why?" "I guess nobody wants a half demon as a child." Her face grew a sad look. "I don't know why they wouldn't. You're so freaking awesome! The spells you do are great." She looked at him and laughed softly. "Malchior was the only person that told me that." His smile went away when she mentioned his name. He hated what that bastard for what he did to her. He saw her on the edge of tears and he decided to change the subject. "Hey! As soon as you get better I'm taking you to do something." "Like what?" "Whatever you want to do." "I don't know..." "Well you have to pick something! I'll wait." He grinned at her. "Well, there is a new book store that I wanted to try. I guess that will be the place." "Awesome!" —————————— I'm so sorry for the long wait! I went to Niagara Falls that's why it took so long!
