Lost and Found

Rescue

Both teens rushed to the living room.
"Titans, we have to go now!" Robin shouted to everyone in the living room.
"Robin I'm going." He heard Raven say.
"Raven you can't I—"
"Why Robin? I need to go! You're right, I need to grow up! And that's what I'm doing right here right now!" She growled. He sighed in defeat and nodded. They rushed out of the building. Raven tried to fly, but that power wasn't back yet.
"Come on Friend Raven!" Starfire said. They linked arms and they went through the air.
Eventually they ended up at the place they were looking for.
They landed and slowly entered the building. There were hallways and hallways filled with rooms.
"Cyborg call the police, There are probably more girls here than we can carry." They walked down the hallway and Robin decided it would be best to split up.
"Raven, Beastboy you take this hallway. Cyborg you take that hallway. Starfire and I will take the one over there."
They went their separate ways. Once all of the doors were searched there was only one left.
"Rae I don't think anyone's gonna be there, there wasn't anyone in the other rooms. They moved to another location." He placed a hand on her shoulder. She shrugged it off and cracked open the door. When she opened the door it was dark, and the smell of marijuana. She recognized it because that's what the men would smoke to have a little more fun. It made her sick to her stomach.
Beastboy walked in first and she followed. It was dark so Beastboy turned on the flashlight he had on his communicator. When he did, what they both saw broke their heart. A girl about 13 or so, was huddled on the floor. She had long curly brown hair.When she looked up and saw Beastboy, she started to panic.
"I won't hurt you." He tried to soothe but the closer he got, the more fear she had.
Raven knew what to do. She had been in this situation and she didn't trust any guy.
"Hi, I'm Raven." She smiled at the girl who seemed way more comfortable around her.
She took Beastboy's arm and wrapped it around her shoulder.
"This is my best friend Beastboy." She knelt down to her level and motioned Beastboy to do the same.
"I promise he would never hurt you. He has never hurt me, only helped. And I know you probably don't trust men at the moment but he is not like any of them. He actually saved me from the same situation we are in right now."
The girl looked into his green eyes and he only smiled.
"Hi." He whispered to her. He could see her muscles relax.
"I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for him. If I had to tell someone my deepest secrets in the blink of an eye I would tell him." The girl nodded and tear leaked out of her eyes and ran down her freckled face.
"What's your name?" Beastboy asked, with a friendly smile still on his face.
"R...Regan." She faintly said.
"Well Regan, we are gonna get you home, to your family." When she heard the word family she started crying. Raven wrapped her cloak around her.
"Now Beastboy is gonna carry you out Regan. I'll be right beside you." She rubbed Regans shoulder. Regan nodded and looked at Beastboy with tired red eyes. Almost begging him not to leave. He bent down and placed his hand where her knees bent and the other on her back and slowly lifted her up.
"Regan, how often did they feed you?" He asked in shock. He didn't realize how skinny she was until he picked her up.
"Every four days." He looked at Raven with tears in his eyes. It tore him apart inside. She was so light and covered in marks. She shouldn't have to be rescued. She should be at home, texting her friends or watching a movie.
They walked out of the room. They were greeted by Starfire and Robin almost immediately.
"Oh my gosh." Robin said in complete shock.
When Regan heard Robins voice she tensed up and nuzzled into Beastboy's chest. He looked down at her and smiled, trying to say it's okay and nobody meant any harm.
"Friend Raven, is she alive?" Starfire asked in a shaky voice.
"Yes. Her name is Regan. And how old are you?"
"Twelve." Regan replied almost silently.They all were in shock.
"I swear to God!" Robin said running his fingered through his hair.
"Guys the police are here!" They heard Cyborg shout from the other side of the building. They all sprinted towards his voice and they made it outside. They were greeted by an ambulance and about 3 police cars. They ignored the police and ran straight to the ambulance.
"We need to get her to the hospital now!" Raven told the driver. He nodded and Raven and Beastboy piled in the back. He gently laid Regan on the bed.
"Robin, you go back to the tower, we are gonna be with her probably for the night." Raven said to him. He nodded and walked over to the police as the ambulance drove away.
