Chapter 16: The question

~GD P.O.V.~

Today is the day, the day I'm going to ask y/n to marry me.
I get out of bed pretty early, make her breakfast, and bring it to her in bed.
Later I'm going to bring her out, we will go wherever she wants.
After that, well go to dinner, then ill pop the question.
I finish up making breakfast as quick as possible, and bring it up to y/n the kiss her to wake her.
She wakes up with a smile.
"What's this? Jiyong?" She sits up looking at the food.
"Its for you princess" I reply with a smile.
She smiles widely, and kisses me.
"Thank you so much baby, I love you" she is happy, I can hear it in her voice.
I smile and then go back downstairs to get my food.
I run back up after and grab her tray, letting her get up.
She hugs me and gives me a kiss.
"Thank you baby" she smiles again.
"Anything for my babygirl" i hug her back.
We walk down stairs and go to the couch.
I sit her on my lap and then ask her where she wants to go.
"Umm y/f/s!!!" She was excited, she then ran upstairs to get ready.
I chuckled and then follow behind to get ready as well.
I put on nice clothes and comb my hair back.
She comes out 30 minutes later looking beautiful as always.
"Damn, whos that beautiful girl standing in front of me!?" I look her up and down.
She smiles then tucks her hair back shyly.
Ah I'm so lucky to have you babygirl
She runs and hugs me then we make our way to the car.
I opened her door and let her in.
Then going to my side and getting in.
We begin to drive to y/f/s and I keep my hand on her thigh.
We arrive at the store and she excitedly runs in.
"Get whatever you want princess" I say and she smiles even wider.
(God he's so extra 🤣)

~almost time for dinner~

We have been chilling at home for a couple hours now.
I was getting a bit nervous to ask the question.
"I'm gonna go get ready, its gonna take me a while" y/n said, getting up.
I nod and smile at her.
I run to the bedroom after she gets in the shower and dig through the closet.
I found it, the little white box.
I opened it up to make sure the ring was there.
I found it in the cushion, the beautiful diamond shimmering in the light.
I smile wide and close the box quick, hearing the shower turn off.
I shove it into my tux jacket pocket and run to assist y/n.
She smiles and wraps a towel around herself.
"Could you grab my dress please Jiyong?" She points to the dresser.
"Of course baby" I walk and grab it.
She hangs it closer to her and starts to do her makeup routine.
With moisturizer and all her other products.
I smile watching her do her makeup and then walk out to go play with Yoonmin for a little bit.
He stated to bark and bite at me and I chuckled at him.
Ji just lazily walked around, avoiding Yoonmin.
It helped me calm down a bit as I thought about us being a family and this was all that I wanted since the day we met.
I saw y/n coming in her dress and I was in awe. I was speechless.
"Wow" was all I said and y/n blushed.
I held out my arm.
"Shall we?" She took my arm and I led her to the car opening the door for her before going around to my side.
I turn to look at her once more.
"How did I get so lucky?" I said quietly.
She blushed again, "the real question is how did I get so lucky?"
I look at her, leaning to kiss her.
I kiss her softly, making her smile.
i start the car and back out of the drive way, now making our way to the restaurant.
I look at her every once and a while, seeing her beautiful face.
Gosh, I fucking love you so much y/n. How was i so lucky to have gotten you?
I smiled and then looked back to the road. We were approaching a stop light, so I stopped and leaned to kiss her.
I kiss her until the light turns green.
Then pulling away and saying "I love you" once again.
"I love you too oppa~" she said cutely back to me.
I smile and grab her hand.
Holding it as I drove.
We take pur time getting to the restaurant, so we have a little alone time before hand.
Driving through town a little, we notice a bridge, lit up by dozens of lanterns and street lights. No one was on it.
The i got an idea.
I will propose there.
I grin at my pwn thoughts then start towards the restaurant.
We arrive a little early, since our reservation is at 8:00pm, it was only 7:45pm when we arrive.
We sit and wait for a little and then we are escorted to a beautiful patio.
It had roses, lights, and champagne in a bucket of ice on the table.
Y/n gasped at the sight.
"W-what is all this Jiyong?" She looked at me.
"Its for you." I smile, "you" I say low.
She has teary eyes, then hugs me, tight.
"I love you so much" she told me before we sat down.
We look out upon the scenery for a moment and then the waiter comes to give us our menus.
We order rather quick and he beings our food.
We watch as the sun sets the rest of the way over the horizon.
We talk about all the good times we've had, and exchange many 'i love you's during dinner.
We finish our food then get our bill.
Leaving the money, plus a $20 tip for our waiter, since he was so nice and patient with us.
Y/n and I hook arms once more and then walk back to our car.
I opened her door once more and then get in for myself.
"Would you like to go walking around the city for a little while?" I suggest.
She looks at me, "of course" she says smiling.
I smile and start up the car.
Knowing what I have planned, I get butterflys.
We go to a park near the beidge and walk around for a bit.
"y-y/n, come over here, I wanna show you this bridge! Its really cool!" I say, coaxing her to come to the bridge.
"Okay~" she says, walking with me.
We start to walk slowly over to the bridge, holding hands and then i lean to kiss her cheek.
Once we reach the bridge i get even more nervous.
I know whats is about to happen.
I cant wait to start a family with her.
Ahhhhhh I have to do it now.
I scream at myself.
Stopping in the middle of the walk bridge, I turn her to face me.
"Y/n, you truly make me the happiest man in the world. Everything you do for me, everytime you look at me. The way you smile, how you laugh so cutely. It makes my heart flutter, you make me get butterflys everytime I see you. Y/n you have given me the best 5 years of my whole life. You make me so happy, and I want to make you even happier tonight, y/n I truly love you with all my heart and soul"
I get down on one knee and reach in my tux pocket for the ring.
"Y/n, will you marry me?" I open the box the reveal the beautiful diamond ring.
She grabbed her face and kept from squealing with glee.
I seen tears run down her face.
I, myself, was teary eyed.
"Yes!! Yes, yes, yes!!! I love you so much, yes!" She shakily sticks her hand out for me to slide the ring onto her finger.
I then get up and she attacks me into a hug and tushes to my lips.
Kissing me hard.
I smile, letting all my tears out.
"I love you Jiyong" she says into my ear.
"I love you too, y/n" I say back keeping her close to me.
