So the story goes, the historic theatre is haunted by the apparition of a woman in a beautiful white dress. The theatre building was originally the country courthouse, and during this time, a man went on trial for a murder he didn't commit. His wife, who had evidence to exonerate him, rushed to the town, but upon arrival, found that he had been hanged just prior to her arrival. The woman went insane, and now she is believed to have returned searching for her lost lover.
