Lonely
You were away on a mission, you were away for 3 months to be more specific. You would FaceTime your fiancé everyday when you could but you stopped after the first month due to being so busy.
Bruce Banner hadn't seen or heard anything from his wife in over 2 months and it was killing him. It was killing him not being able to see her face, her long h/c hair or her beautiful e/c eyes.
So when she came back home 3 months after she left he was overjoyed with happiness - he kissed her face all over at least a hundred times and hugged her at least what she thought was a thousand.
When she got back Bruce sat in front of her and asked the question he's been wanting to ask since they were engaged.
"Marry me, we'll have a small service with Steve to officialise everything so it's legal; so y/n l/n, will you marry me?" He said as she nodded her head.
"Yes Bruce of course I will."
