Chapter Twenty Two

Ireneia's POV

"Nikolei!"

"Ano ba! Kanina mo pa ako sinisigawan ah! Mahiya ka "

"Mahiya kayong dalawa, kita nyong tulog parin si Ireneia eh!"

"Grabe parang ayokong makalaban sina Ireneia, Lynia at Copper. Halos masira ang buong training grounds sa pinaggagawa nila."

"Copper and I are innocent. Si Ireneia ang mas madaming nasira doon. Seriously speaking, parang si Helios lang yung nakalaban namin minus the super strength and the total Darkness."

"Ahh!"

Dahil sa samu't-saring ingay sa kwarto ko, there's really nothing left for me to do but to wake up.  I groaned when I finally felt the stinging pain all over my body.

And 'that' caught their attention.

"Ireneia!" Sigaw ni Fritz bago ako nilapitan at niyakap which made me shut my eyes dahil sa sakit na dinulot ng mahigpit na yakap nya sa bugbog kong katawan.

Mukha namang nahalata nila ang naging reaksyon ko dahil nag-aalalang hinila nila palayo saakin si Fritzale.

"Nasaktan si Ireneia, Fritzale. Be careful! Masyado ka naman kasing mahigpit makayakap." Sabi ni Lynia bago ako nginitian at nilapitan.

Is it only me or she appears to be extra happier today than most of the other days? Did something good happen while I was out?

"Kamusta ka? Medyo okay na ba ang pakiramdam mo?" She asked while giving me a concerned look.

I tried to give her a smile pero nagmukha lang itong ngiwi ng muli kong maramdaman ang sobrang sakit mula sa likod ko.

"A-aw." Mahinang daing ko bago ako napahawak sa ulo ko na sya namang sunod na sumakit. This is ridiculous. I can't even focus my attention on what part of my body aches more because they equally hurt.

Oh! before I forgot.

"who did this to me?" Tanong ko sakanila.

I'm really so pissed right now that I even forgot that my body hurts like fucking hell. I swear I would not be able to forgive whoever did this to me.

Well you were out to kill. If that someone did not stop you, who knows what have happened? says my inner thought. It does have a point but I'm still annoyed and badly hurting so obviously no one should expect for me to be rational.

They exchanged looks that appeared to me like they clearly know who did this to me but they are jus afraid to tell me. There should only be two reasons for that, one, they are afraid of what I could do to him or her if I learn about who he is or she is, and two, they are afraid of what that person might do to them if they decided to tell.

I shut my eyes close and mentally cursed. I think I know who did this to me.

Damn! This is not good.

Being the cursed mage, there are several disadvantages at advantages sa katawan ko ang dark magic. Ang advantage nito saakin ay ang kakayahang taglay ko. Hindi ako pwedeng mapatay ng basta-basta ng mga dark sorcerers. Pwede din na hindi ako tablan ng kapangyarihan nila.

Dark magic can either kill me within a short span of time or regenerate me.

At ang disadvantage naman nito.

Dahil hindi pa ako masyadong sanay sa kapangyarihan ko at kulang pa ako sa pagsasanay. Isa lang ang pwedeng kahinatnan ko kapag ginamitan ako ng dark magic.
