"Run Woody!" Alex yelled and laughed as he got caught by the police. I ran and turned a corner, bumping into someone. "Got him!" A police officer yelled and lifted me off the ground. "Oh come on! We were just playin'!" I said and groaned. "Vandalizing is illegal Woodland!" Someone said. I was confused on how they knew my name and who said it. I looked up and saw James. "Oh Jamie! Hey my man! Why don't you tell them it was all a misunderstanding and let me go!" I said and smiled innocently at him. "Woodland, you are being adopted," He said. My face fell and I felt the anger rise. "Why the fuck are you lying!" I yelled. "Woods, I'm not lying!" He said. I scoffed. "You're the worst social worker ever!" I whined. He rolled his eyes and the officer undid the handcuffs from my wrists. Wait? When did I get handcuffed? "Stay out of trouble!" The officer warned before walking away. "Let's go Woods," Jamie said. I rolled my eyes and followed him. I got in front seat and opened the glove compartment. I pulled out my book and started reading it. "Buckle up Woodland," Jamie said before buckling himself up. "Shut up, James," I snorted back. I could see anger in his eyes as he snatched my book away. "Bro!" I said and reached for my book. "Buckle up!" He said again. I rolled my eyes but buckled up. "Book," I said. He sighed and handed it back to me. He started the car and he started driving to my new.... home. I already hate it. Nowhere is home for me. I guarantee they are gonna get rid of my in less than a week. We soon pulled into a long drive way. "Behave!" Jamie warned as he turned the car off. I rolled my eyes but followed him in anyway. He knocked and almost immediately the door opened. "Hi! You must be Jamie and Tanner!" A tall man, maybe six foot, with auburn hair said as he answered the door. "Woodland," I corrected. "Sorry Woodland, come on in!" He said. "I can't stay long, other kids," Jamie said. The man nodded like he understood. "We can make it fast!" He assured Jamie. I rolled my eyes. It's an act. It's all an act. I know it. It always is. "Okay well, here's his file and is there anything you want to discussed to him with me here?" Jamie asked. "No, I think we're all good!" He smiled. Jamie nodded and looked at me. "Be good, please," He begged. "Whatever," I scoffed and plopped on the couch. I heard Jamie sighed before saying bye and leaving. "Okay, Woodland," The man said and walked over to stand in front of me. "What?" I groaned. He raised his eye brows at me. "We have rules you have to follow!" He said and sat on the table in front of me. I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, whatever," I sighed. "The rules are, no stealing, no smoking, no drinking, no cursing, always do what you're told when you're told and respect others," He said. I rolled my eyes. "Yeah right," I muttered. "What was that?" He asked. "Yeah, whatever," I said louder. He glared at me. "Lose the attitude Woodland," he warned. I rolled my eyes. "Do you have any questions for me?" He asked. I thought for a minute. "What's your name?" I asked. "My name is Shane. My husbands name is Ryland, he will be home soon," He answered. I nodded. "Let's go see your room," He said and stood up. I groaned and stood up. We walked up some stairs and there was a medium length hallway. "This is my room," he said and pointed to a door. "Don't care," I said. I heard him sigh but continued walking. "This is your room," he said. "Thanks," I muttered. "You're welcome!" He smiled. I rolled my eyes. "I'll let you get settled!" He said and left the room. I sighed and as soon as he closed the door I pulled my cigarettes out of my pocket. I know he just said not to but I don't care! I need one now.

After Woodland pulled the cigarettes out of his pocket. He opened the window and lit one. He put it between his lips and took a big drag of the nicotine. Downstairs Shane was checking his emails when he smelled something. He furrowed his eye brows and decided to check on Woodland. He walked up and opened his door. "Woodland!" Shane shouted in shock. Woodland looked at him and took another drag and raised his eye brows at Shane. "Sup," he said and flicked the bud out the window and closed it. "Didn't I just tell you less than ten minutes ago the rules?!" Shane asked mad. Woodland shrugged, not caring. Shanes jaw clenched. "Go stand in the corner!" Shane said calmly. Woodland scoffed. "Hell no!" Woodland said. Shane glared at him and stormed over. "Let me go asshole!" Woodland said and Shane grabbed his upper arm. Shane turned him sideways and started to rain smacks onto Woodlands bum. "Stop!" Woody said trying not to cry. "Go stand in the corner!" Shane seethed through his teeth. Woodland looked at him fearfully but scurried to the corner. Shane sat on Woodlands bed and sighed. He could faintly hear a sniffle come from Woodland. "Come here Woodland," Shane said after a few minutes. Woodland slowly turned and saw Shane. Woodland looked at him in fear and stayed. "Now," Shane said and snapped his fingers once and pointed to the spot in front of him. Woodland slowly walked over to Shane. Shane opened his legs and made woodland stand in the v-line of his legs. "Look at me," Shane said. Woodland slowly lofted his head enough to see Shane. "Why?" Shane asked causing Woodland to drop his head again. "Hm?" Shane asked and rubbed the boys arm with his thumb. "It helped," Woodland said quietly. "With what?" Shane asked. Woodland was silent and Shane realized it was personal and he didn't wanna talk about it now. "Okay, we don't to talk about it right now," Shane said and nodded to himself. "Woody, do you know what a spanking is?" Shane asked. Woodland nodded shyly. "Have you ever received one?" Shane asked. Woodland looked to be thinking. "Yes and no," Woodland finally piped up. "What do you mean by that?" Shane asked confused. Woodland sighed and didn't say anything more. "Okay," Shane sighed. "Well, you're going to get a spanking," Shane said. Woodland looked at him in fear. "What? No! Please!" Woodland begged. Shane shook his head no. "Woodland you broke two rule! You snoked and cursed!" Shane said. Woodland held in tears as Shane guided him over his lap. Shane closed his legs so his right leg was over both of Woodlands. "Please!" Woodland said as a single tear fell from his eye. "Sorry Woodland, you deserve it and you know it," Shane said and pat his back. "I'm starting," Shane said before bringing his hand down hard of Woodlands upturned bottom. "Please!" Woodland said as tears silently fell from his eyes as Shane got to forty smacks. Shane ignored his plea and continued to rain smacks onto his poor bum. "Shane please!" Woodland cried out. He couldn't stop the cries escaping his lips. Shane continued and Woodland couldn't take anymore. "I'm sorry!" Woodland sobbed unable to control himself any longer. "Almost done baby," Shane said and rubbed his back. "Please!" Woodland cried. Shane took a deep breath before bringing his hand down on Woodlands behind ten more times ending with a total of one hundred. "Shh Woody, breathe baby it's over!" Shane said and rubbed his back. Shane lifted Woodland and pulled the boy to his chest. Woodland sobbed into Shane chest as Shane rocked him side to side and cooed sweet nothing's in the boys ear. Soon, Woodland stopped sobbing and sat up from Shanes chest. "You Okay?" Shane asked. Woodland stayed silent as he looked away from Shane. "Woody?" Shane asked and ran his hand through his hair. "I wanna be alone," Woodland muttered. "Are you sure?" Shane asked, not wanting Woodland to be upset. "No," Woodland mumbled and looked down. "Hey," Shane said and rubbed his back. Woodland glanced at him for a second and looked back down. Woodland was too embarrassed to face him. Shane pulled Woodland into a hug and kissed his head. Woodlands eyes became heavy and he tried to stay awake. He lost the fight and his eyes fell closed and he fell asleep in Shanes lap.
