Chapter Sixteen:

I opened my eyes just to see that everything is dark. I tried to reach for my head but my hands were tied behind my back.

"Could someone please turn on the lights?" I asked.

"Ah, you're awake." A very deep voice said, so deep that it almost sounds like he's trying to fake it.

Suddenly something was yanked off my head which was unsurprisingly a sack, I looked around the room; it was dim because of the moonlight that shone through the window.

"Ugh, dang it. I caught the wrong girl." He muttered.

I looked down.

I was sitting on something that definitely was not my wheelchair because it was wood. I was still wearing those ugly hospital gowns.

He looked out the window. I took it as an opportunity to make a plan.

I look around. There was nothing I could really use. In the top corner of the room there was a security camera in front of me, meaning it couldn't see the back of my chair.

I tried to move my hand behind my chair around hoping to find something like a loose nail.

"What's your name?" He asked.

"I thought you already know that, since you're the one who kidnapped me." I said with a smirk.

I instantly regretted that since he walked over to me and yanked my hair. My injured ribs hurt.

"Such a pretty face, we really don't want me ruin that, huh." He said and smiled evilly.

"Why won't you just let me go, then I'll be out of your way." I asked.

He laughed. His laughter sent shivers down my spine.

"You're so funny, you'd really think I'd do that?" He asked with sarcasm.

I didn't answer I just spit on his hand.

"You're parents didn't teach you manners. What should we do about that?" He asked pretending to think while wiping away the spit.

"They did teach me manners. They also told me that it's not nice to drug someone, kidnap them, and yank their hair." I said.

He ignored me and left the room. But what he didn't know is that I saw what's behind the door. Which is the computer linked to the security cameras.

The security camera that I mentioned was in the corner of the room couldn't see the whole room only some of it.

I tried to move my chair backwards. My ribs began to hurt again but I ignored it. All I wanna do is escape this place and see all my friends again.

Elijah's POV:

After Corl left. (Y/N) left too.

I just couldn't believe it. How come the baby belong to Corl? I'm kinda regretting dating Lacey.

I decided to leave the room too. I went to the waiting room. But it was empty. I saw a wheelchair that looked pretty similar to (Y/N)'s.

Wait... Where's (Y/N)?!

I saw a handkerchief on the wheelchair.

(Y/N) doesn't use handkerchiefs!

Elijah calm down this wheelchair probably belonged to someone else. Maybe they just forgot their handkerchief.
