After giving Hunter an earful a few days ago, he'd promised to make it up to Andy. He knew exactly what he'd done and thought it was hilarious. There was only one thing Hunter hadn't liked about the whole situation.

How much interest Sin had taken in her.

Hunter was a long time friend. Him and Andy met in high school, Sophomore year. It was history class, first period. He was a loud rowdy boy with floppy blond hair who had gotten paired with Andy for a class project.

At that time, Andy wasn't popular, but she also wasn't a nobody. She was on a few sports teams and was in the top quarter of the whole class grade wise. Normally, she kept quiet in class. History had happened to be one of two classes where she didn't have any of her regular friends in the class with her.

Hunter thought she was funny. She was sarcastic and made fun of Hunter, but he just gave it back. From then on, the two grew close and became best friends. They hung out all the time and Hunter became part of Andy's friend group and Andy became part of Hunter's friend group.

But then Hunter changed. Senior year, around Christmas, he'd gotten picked up at a party and his parents refused to pick him up from the police station. He'd slowly been getting in trouble with the law that year. He smoked weed, drank underage and partied. When his parents left him in jail for a few nights Hunter met some people.

They changed him, for the worse. Instead of being afraid of jail and criminals, Hunter was only thrilled by it.

He'd gone searching for a gang. The members in jail had told Hunter about their members, benefits and anything else they could, to get him in with them. He fell for it. He had met up with the gang leader, a man named Ross. He was a middle-aged colored man, his hair was short and cropped and he had facial hair. He'd gotten a call from one of the men in the jail, warning them that a white kid would be coming around looking for the gang. They'd suggested letting Hunter in.

Hunter went through their initiation, completing all the phases. Hunter barely graduated high school, he'd been so caught up with the gang. He wouldn't even tell Andy their name, it was to keep her safe, he said.

Andy was one of the few people Hunter kept around from high school. She never judged him, she gave her opinion on his bad decisions but never told him what to do, and never discriminated against him for the decisions he did make. She remained his friend through everything.

Andy had tried to help him, bring him back into normal society and out of gang life. She hadn't been able to though, and in her unfortunate job circumstance, had turned to him for help.

His gang regularly took their cars to an auto shop, Earl's. Earl personally owed Hunter. Earl was one of the few mechanics in the area that served criminals. He helped a few motorcycle clubs as well and Hunter had an in with Earl. He used the favor to get Andy hired.

Hunter didn't realize that there was an ex-con working there as well. He hadn't known Sin would take an interest, and Hunter certainly didn't like it.

He sat on Andy's bed, frowning. He wore his usual, black jeans and a dark grey t-shirt with holes. His tattoos swirled up and down his arms. On one hand, his knuckles were tattooed with the word 'DEFY' in traditional tattoo script. His pale blond hair had been recently cut and framed his face funny.

He was trying to process everything Andy said about Sin, "Angel, from what you told me--"

"I'm not quitting Hunter, Sin isn't even close to as bad as Randy and I couldn't work for him anymore. After Ashley and Sam quit I was the only girl, so he gave me all the unwanted attention. I couldn't deal with that anymore." Andy was in the process of getting dressed for a party Hunter was taking her to. She was trying to find something cute, yet not slutty for it.
