Chapter 19: Pilot Jones

It's been two weeks since she's been gone. It has been tough. But I have a great support system. Chanel's friend Kandi and I put on a lovely service for her. It was tough for both of us but we made it though. We decided to always return to her grave together on her birthdays and her favorite holidays. Kandi no longer works at the strip club. I told her I would help her land a job. I still live in my condo. But now I'm no longer alone. I have a puppy living with me, Everest. Greatest dog ever. I'm putting the final touches on my album. It's supposed to release in a month or so. Right now I'm in the studio singing my heart out to a song I made just for Chanel. 

Frank- (singing) In the sky up above the birds.

I seen the sky like I never seen before you.

Thought I was above you.

Above you in so many ways.

But if I got a condo on a cloud then I guess you can stay at my place.

I'ma get one.

I need ya.

Admit it.

You're my Pilot Jones. 

I took my headphones off and I felt a pat on my back. 

?- Ready to go?

I turned around and saw Willie. I smiled and nodded. 

Willie- let's go home.
