"bye Nicole thanks for dropping me off same time tomorrow morning" jess says walking out of my car

"yup same time I won't come as early this time"

"oh thank god" she says laughing running up her driveway

"so are you just going to sit there or are you going to come up here with me" I ask looking at Jonah

"ill come up there"

"okay"

"so how do you feel" I ask while getting his address and putting it into my phone 

"not that good"

"sorry...well I guess we'll have to reschedule that date"

"no no ill be fine" he says quickly 

"are you sure I don't want you to get anymore hurt"

"no thank you"

"why so polite" I say

"I don't want you to hit me again"

"wow I said sorry"

"I know im just joking" he says reassuringly 

"I am too...calm down you seem really tense right now" 

"I guess im just um nervous"

"nervous whats to be nervous about.. don't worry im bringing you home its not like im kidnapping you"

"Its just I get nervous around pretty girls"

"does that count as me" I say 

"yup"

"well theres nothing to be nervous about plus im not even a pretty girl so its fine"

"thats what you think" he says as we get to his house 

"well see you later"

"see you later do you want to just come to my house"

"sure that'd be fun" I say driving away

j- oh my god are you serious 

m- yeah I felt bad for hitting him 

j- dang youre more of a hoe than I thought 

m- wait what? how does that make me a hoe?

j- you literally just went on a date with Daniel yesterday and suddenly youre going out with his best friend

m- its not like im dating Daniel 

j- ik im just saying I just don't think going on a date with one boy one night and his best friend the next isn't the best idea

m- so should I just cancel on Jonah

j- I don't know you do whats best
