"so tell me a little more about you I know you're in the band and play baseball thats really all I know" I say when we sit down at his table

"well I don't only like to sing songs but I also like to write them"

He tells me all about how he loves to write songs and how he feels like he can do anything when he's writing

as hes telling me all this my phone keeps ringing but I don't answer it

"are you going to answer that" he asks stopping what he was talking about

"no im sure they can wait I want to hear the rest of this" I say referring to the story

I see him slightly smile and then continue what he was saying

when he's finished he tells me to answer the call seeing they just kept calling

I look at my phone and see it was a bunch of calls from my mom

"oh great" I whisper to myself

"who was it"

"my mom"

"well call her back" he says

I get a little embarrassed because I know im going to have to speak in Italian and I speak really fast and get an accent

"so are you going to call her" Jonah says

"oh yeah"
