We went back to my apartment, I still hadn't said a word to Hunter since he had pulled his arm away from me earlier. I had closed myself off again and I wasn't planning on opening back up any time soon.

"Caroline." Hunter said tapping me on the shoulder. I looked at him with a what do you want expression.

"What did I do now?" Hunter asked. I rolled my eyes and walked to the kitchen. "Caroline talk to me, please." He pouted. I rolled my eyes and shook my head.

"Well how about I try and guess what I did wrong?" I shrugged.

"I'm guessing it wasn't when I saved you from your ex... Or from my little sister." I shook my head. Hunter looked me in the eyes for a second then said, "it was when I was angry in the car right?" I stared at him blankly, how did he get that from looking at me. "I'm sorry. I don't like to get angry especially not around you, I know you've been through a lot." Hearing that last sentence, I got so angry I just exploded at Hunter. "How the hell would you know I've been through a lot! And why the hell do you care!" I walked to the bathroom, slammed the door and locked it.

Hunter's POV

Caroline slammed the bathroom door. I don't know what I did. All I said was I knew she had been through a lot. That's when it hit me, whatever she had been through had really traumatized her. Why was I so stupid sometimes. I walked to the bathroom door and knocked.

Caroline's POV

There was a knock on the bathroom door. I tired not to let my whimpers be heard through the door. "Caroline, open the door please." Hunter said quietly. I was silent, I wanted to let him in. I wanted him to know what happened. I wanted him to tell him. But as much as I wanted to, I couldn't bring myself to do so. Hunter kept trying to get me to open the door but after a couple of hours he gave up, and I slept on the bathroom floor that night.
