I finally pulled away from him. I took a deep breath, stood on my toes and leaned my forehead against his. "Maybe we should go home." I suggested. We went back to my apartment and it was my turn to collapse on the floor.

"Caroline?" He said poking me.

"Hmm..."

"How long was your ex beating you up?"

"Uh... Like.... 10 minutes." I said rolling to face him.

"That duchebag." Hunter whispered.

"Hunter be nice." I said throwing a pillow at him, hitting him in the head.

"I'm not going to be nice to a guy who beat up my girlfriend!"

"You make it sounds like I didn't get to hit him more then a few times. You would have seen that if you hadn't gone all crazy guy on him." I laughed.

"How many hits did you get off?"

"At least 20 or so hits."

"Damn." He said handing me an ice pack.

"But then one of his friends held me down and Chris repeatedly punched me..."

"So you had a fair chance? If that other jackhole didn't hold you down."

I laughed, "yeah. I guess."

"Damn." He said relaxing on the pillow I threw at him.

"Why do you keep saying that?"

"Because my girlfriend knows how to beat the crap out of people and I find that sexy."

I looked down, "I'm not sexy." Hunter put his finger under my chin and lifted it up. "You are sexy and  beautiful and amazingly sweet and god I really love you."

I blushed, "And I'm stuck dating the guy who has to constantly tell me."

"I'm gonna keep telling you until you believe me."

"Yeah good luck with that, handsome."

He laughed, "do I guess we both are self-conscious. Cause I'm 100 percent sure I'm not handsome."

I stared him straight in the eye. "Hunter, you are extremely handsome, you're always there, you're my guardian angel, and I love you so freaking much."

Hunter leaned in and kissed me. As much as I wanted to keep kissing him, I really needed air. Hunter tried to pull my face back to his but I shook my head. I stood up and started to walk to the bathroom. Hunter jumped up and grabbed my wrist.

"Where are you going?"

"To change into my pajamas."

"But don't you just wear a baggy t-shirt?"

I looked at him confused.

"Well you're wearing a baggy t-shirt, so all you have to do is take off your jeans right?" I looked down at my outfit, he was right, crap.
