The middle school hosted a play, Romeo and Juliet.
Ivy was Juliet's understudy, Riley was Juliet, Lucas was Romeo, Farkle was a spearsmen, and Maya didn't even audition.
It came to the scene were Romeo was going to kiss Juliet.
The scene Ivy hates the most.
"Eyes, look your last," Lucas says to Riley, laying in the marble coffin thing died-ish.
"Arms, take your last embrace."
Farkle moved closer to the actors.
"And, lips, oh you the doors of breath,"
Farkle again moves closer.
"Seal with a righteous kiss."
Lucas leans to Riley to kiss her.
Ivy closed her eyes and held her breath, but the scene was interrupted.
"Back off!" Farkle hisses at Lucas.
This sent relief down Ivy's body and was proven by the sigh she gave.
"What meanest thou? Spears carrier? Who havest no lines." Lucas said in confusion.
"Thank you Farkle" Ivy thought.
"You tried to kiss my woman. This I cannot allow. Prepare to die!"
"Farkle. What are you doing? It's Romeo and Juliet."
"Well, now it's Romeo and Juliet and Farkle. I play Farkle." Farkle states.
"Dude, I'm supposed to kiss the girl. Shakespeare said."
At this point the play was now a bust.
Ivy wasn't complaining!
"Who thinks the spear carrier should finally kiss Juliet?" Farkle asked the crowd.
Everyone cheers, especially Maya, of course Ivy clapped from the left side of the stage as well.
