This morning was a different for me. I woke up to my alarm and felt off... I felt almost good. I really didn't want to get out of bed, and yet I got up. I slowly force myself to walk up to open my blind and I was face to Lucas' window.
He was already dressed, and ready for another day. I couldn't relate. I turned to my phone ringing to find a notification.

It was announced months ago about this, I've talked about this all week, practicing my ass off, and everyone says they're going. The notification let me looked at the bright side today.
I got dressed and fed Delilah, Lucas was at my door and was stunned by the fact I actually woke up.
"Oh my gosh, you woke up... by yourself!" He said turn ruffling my hair, "I'm so proud of you babe."
"Ha ha, I get it. Hell, today is a special day and I'm not gonna be a lazy ass today!"
"Oh I wonder what today could be?" Luca questions jokingly."
"Your ass better be there, Friar."
"What?! I wouldn't miss it for the world. I know how much this means to you." He comes and kisses my forehead.
"Promise me."
"Why though?"
"Promise you hoe!" I laugh at calling him a not-so nice word to call someone.
"Ok! I promise, Ivy I will go to your performance."
