The friends landed their pokemon on the ground, quickly returning them to their pokeballs. By now, half the friends were running around in circles.

"AHH!" Rudia screamed, "What should we do?!"
"We're doomed," Pichu said.

"No, we're not." Shell said, "We have one strategist, two mathematicians, and a healer. We'll make it! Though, I do believe a plan is needed. Any ideas?"

"Follow your instincts!" Raichu recommended.

"Punch the storm!" Rudia said.

"Die?" Pichu suggested.

"Ugh," Bell said, "Those aren't any good."

"Come on guys!" Shelly said, "According to my glasses, we only have twenty minutes to make a plan and set it into action!"

"Hmm..." Ravisu thought, "How do you survive in an extremely dangerous situation? Oh! We can build a bed-wars base!"

Bed-wars was a game on the Minecraft Server Hypixel and the Hive. It consisted of many beds that when destroyed, led to no respawn to the team who had the destroyed bed.

"Hey, that's not half-bad!" Bell said, "Now we just have to find some wood, clay, endstone, sandstone, and obsidian!"

"And where are we getting that??" Shell said.

"Well... we used wood for the fire last night..." Quinci commented.

"That was vines," Ravisu corrected. Quinci looked disappointed.

"HEY!" Bell suggested. "If we're all in a story-"

"Wait," Pichu said, "wut? We are?"

Bell ignored Pichu and continued, "Let's ask the authors to protect us from the sandstorm or something!"

"AUTHORZ!!!" Rudia screamed as loud as she could. "CAN U PLZ HELP US SURVIVE THIS STORM?!?!" Nothing happened.

Raichu Human rolled his eyes, "You aren't screaming loud enough. Lemme try..." Everyone covered their ears. "AUTHORZ CAN YOU PLEASE HELP US SURVIVE THIS STORM!?!?!?!"

"No," a voice answered from nowhere in particular.

"Ah well," Shelly sighed. "I guess we're on our own. These authors are really unhelpful... Any other ideas?"

"Well, I read from HowToSurviveASandstorm.com that we need to get to high ground," Raichu stated.

"Yeah..." Pichu said, looking around. "There's no high ground."

"Guess we're doing the bedwars idea," Quinci sighed.

"Better find stuff quick," Shelly alerted. "We have 15 minutes left!"

"Well, I also read at GobiDesert.org-" Raichu started.

"WE DON'T CARE WHERE U GOT IT FROM!" Rudia exploded. "JUST GET TO THE INFO BEFORE WE END UP AT THE BOTTOM ON THE SAND BOWL!"

"Jeez," Raichu said. "I was just going to say, under this sand we're standing on right now, there's stone and rock. All we need to do is brush it away-"

"Swanna!" Ravisu called. "Use Gust!" Swanna rose above the group and flapped hard. The sand shifted beneath their feet. Soon, after half a foot of sand was removed, they reached hard ground.

"Okay then!" Bell cried. "Everyone take out their rock and ground type pokemon and start building a bedwar base!"

Shelly took out her lunatone (psychic and rock), Raichu took out his phanphy (ground), and Bell took our her garchomp (ground and dragon).

"U kidding?" Raichu said, looking at Pichu, Quinci, Ravisu, and Rudia. "You guys don't have ANY ground or rock types?"

"Rock and ground types are ugly," Ravisu scoffed, her response to everything.

"Whatever..." Shelly rolled her eyes. "Just use your hands or get out other useful pokemon..."

So the team got to work. Phanphy and garchomp created ground barriers with lunatone adding to the wall. Pichu took out her chimecho to physicly move rocks, while Quinci, Rudia, and Ravisu just used their hands to pick up rocks.

"Oh no!" Shelly exclaimed after Rudia tiredly put down a rock. "Only 1 minute until the storm hits! And we didn't even create the roof yet!" The wall was 10 by 10 by 6 feet (aka as big as the SS Da Huang Ya) stretching all around them now, but the roof was still holed. Rudia already felt the bits of sand fly up into her face.

"There's not enough time!" Raichu called. "Only 30 seconds now!"

Shelly took out her cloyster, and nodded towards the pokemon. Cloyster positioned its two shells as if in a battle stance. Bell stepped to the side as the water began to flow out of the zip-lock bags. The water floated upward, becoming ice in the process, and formed a thin frost roof.

"Come on, build the rock roof over the ice one," Shelly said. "Cloyster Isn't very strong in the desert--no offense-- so hurry up!" Shelly took out her lunatone, while Raichu got out his phanpy and Gianna summoned her garchomp.

The pokemon quickly began to work, blotting out the sunlight that shone through the ice shield. Pichu felt a splash of water fall on her forehead.

"Guys," Ravisu warned. "The ice shield is dripping..."

"Almost there..." Bell said, her pokemon moving a rock to block out the sunlight. Rocks piled up, but the ceiling continued to drip. It was melting. Cloyster was losing its grip.

"We're gonna make it!" Rudia cheered. Only one last rock to put down...

"Yikes!" Quinci cried, tripping over cloyster. Waves of cold water came crashing down. Right after, the sand ripped through the hole in the ceiling, taking if off, bit by bit. The pokemon tried to put it back together, but the wind was too strong. Soon the whole ceiling flew off and the sand started ripping at the walls.

"Our bed is being destroyed!" Bell whined. "We will never respawn again!"

"Yo Bell?" Pichu asked. "In bedwars, what do you do when your bed gets destroyed?"

"Run!" Bell answered.

"Hide!" Quinci said.

"Log off!" Ravisu said.

"Fight for your honor!" Shelly said.

"Well," Pichu reasoned. "We can't outrun this storm. We can't hide from this storm, nor can we log off. So I guess we will have to fight this storm!"

"Come on, peepz!" Quinci cried with a newfound determination. "Get a ground, rock, psychic, or flying type pokemon! We are gonna get through this storm! We are gonna fight it!"

"Yeah!" Rudia cheered, taking out her charizard.

"Uh," Quinci whispered to Bell. "Do you have any pokemon I can borrow?"

"You don't have ANY of those types either?" Bell shook her head. She took out her salamemce for Quinci.

"ATTACK!!!" Rudia cried, rushing into the storm as the last bits of the wall flew off.

"Don't forget to cover your face, mouth, ears, nose-" Raichu reminded before everyone rushed into the storm. "Ah well..." He pulled his shirt over his face. He saw shadowy forms of his team walking beside him through his shirt.

"MAKE ANOTHER BARRIER!" Bell screamed. Only Raichu seemed to have heard, and since his voice was louder than a bomb, he repeated the message. Another barrier was formed out of ice, trapping the friends into one tight spot. Shell seemed to react quickly.

"The... way deserrtt animals sssurvive ssandssstorms is by digging a hole!" Bell informed but her voice was barely heard.

"DIG A HOLE!" Raichu translated.

With the combined strength of the four future-world leaders and a random person, they were able to dig a hole.
