You slept over at mine because you were having a fight with your parents about you, believing that your brother is still alive while your parents believed that he's most likely dead.

You cried all night and I was just holding you until you opened your eyes in the morning after you finally slept in my arms.

You asked me, how I did know how to handle you in such a difficult situation that I couldn't understand.

I wanted to tell you that I wasn't 'handling' you.

I was holding you.

I wanted to tell you that I love holding you.

I wanted to tell you that I'd always hold you like that if you need me to or want me to.

I just love you.

I wanted to tell you all these things but instead, I shrugged my shoulders.
