Everyone came back late after I had made dinner. Gabriel ruffled my hair and smiled at me. Lucifer pushed past me yelling, "Is dinner cooked?" I followed the rest into the kitchen.

"Yes." I replied simply. Lucifer hummed and called everyone to sit down at the table. Lucifer is like my step-father. He is firm, doesn't give a shit about me as long I do something he asks of, and is very strict. He didn't question if Dean or Sam had left. We all said grace and began to eat our food.

It was quiet. Samandriel and I shared looks of worry while Gabriel didn't pay attention. Anna was too busy in eating her food as Lucifer looked around. I could feel tension rising. "Castiel," Lucifer called my name. I looked at him. "Did you do your chores? I wouldn't want father to be upset at you." I nodded.

"I did. Is that all?" I said. Lucifer huffed.

"Yeah." I slowly nodded my head.

"May I be excused?" My voice echoed in the room. Anna even looked at me for once.

"Are you going somewhere important?" Lucifer's angry tone coming on.

"No, no. Just never mind about it." I could feel anxiety going through me. My chest hurting and my hand clenched in a fist. My arm started to hurt. Everyone returned to eating their food before we were all excused. I got ready for bed and grabbed my phone. I opened Spotify and put on a band. The mix landed on the song The Life Of The Party by All Time Low. I sighed heavily as I pulled the covers over me.

My earbuds were loud in my ears as I fell asleep with my worries building up inside me.
