𝐅𝐥𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐲 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝𝐬 || 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 - 𝐍𝐞𝐚𝐫 ||

𝙱𝚞𝚋𝚋𝚕𝚎 𝙱𝚊𝚝𝚑

I hummed quietly as the bathtub filled up, sitting on the edge as I poured bubble mixture in with the running water every so often. The sound of running water became nothing more than white noise as I looked out of the window and admired the view over the city. The wall was a large window, taking up the entirety of the wall which was next to the bathtub. Blackout windows were installed all over the building, so whilst it provided anyone here with a breathtaking view of the city, no one could look in.

The bathroom I was currently in was lit up by candlelights that I had placed around the area. Each in safe holders to prevent any hazards from occurring whilst they were lit for the next hour or so. It was 8 O'clock right now too, so it's the perfect time to have a long soak in the bathtub before getting ready for bed.

The water had reached the correct level, and I dipped my hand in, ensuring that the temperature wasn't too hot, but that it also wasn't cool enough that it would get uncomfortable after a while.

The temperature was perfect, great.

I placed a couple of rubber ducks, a boat, and even a little water gun on the rim of the tub, smiling a little at the presentation I had made of it. It looked very cosy if I said so myself. Over by the sink were some fluffy towels, freshly dried too so they were nice and warm, and would hopefully stay a little warm once they needed to be used.

I turned the taps off, submerging myself into silence, minus the low, muffled hum of the ever busy streets down below from where I stood. Beyond the blackout glass that I was stood behind.

A squeak of the doorknob behind me caused me to turn around, a light smile making itself apparent on my face as I watched my favourite white haired boy walk in.

"What's this?"
Near walked into the bathroom with a slightly stunned expression, posture slouching slightly as he closed the door behind himself, matching pyjamas to the ones he would wear every day under his arm, and a few puppets on his fingers on the opposite hand.

I shrugged, making my way towards him and slinking behind him, putting my hands on his shoulder gently.
"I figured you should take some time to relax tonight, rather than having a quick cold shower. They cant be too good for you at this time."
I murmured, taking his clean clothes out from under his arm and placing them next to my own pyjamas, besides the towels on the sink.

Making my way back behind him, I wrapped my arms carefully around his middle, hesitating in case he wasn't feeling in the mood to accept my affections right now. I wouldn't blame him, it's always a hard day for him today of all dates. However, he didn't say anything, and instead leaned his head backwards so that the back of his head leaned against the top of mine, and we stayed like that for a couple of moments, in silence.

"Come on, the water will get cold if you don't hurry up. Here, I'll join you in today as well."
I ushered him in a gentle tone, making my way in front of him and unbuttoned his shirt as Near simply watched me, I looked up at him with soft eyes, silently asking if it was okay for me to help him remove his clothing, and he gave me a small reassuring smile, nodding his head. I smiled back and kissed his collarbone once as I slid his shirt off his shoulders, and placed it, folded neatly, at the opposite side of the sink, allowing him to remove the rest of his clothing and climb into the bathtub as I had my back turned away, out of modesty. After I put the rest of his clothes with his shirt, I went around to undressing myself, seeing Near leaning his head against his arms as he leaned on the rim of the bathtub, watching me through strands of white hair as I undressed myself, put my clothes next to his, and climbed into the bathtub with him, sinking into the bubbles and heated water with a quiet sigh.
