Lloyd sat by the dining table in the temple alone, thinking about Kai.
Why can't I stop thinking about him? Do I l-like him? No... I can't... maybe?
"Morning green bean, good to see you up and about." Cole greeted the silent green ninja before opening the fridge to grab some leftover cake.
Once Cole got his cake he sat down across from Lloyd.
"Morning Cole, yeah, I'm feeling a whole lot better," Lloyd replied before he continued daydreaming.
"Are you in love?" Cole teased when he noticed his friend's facial expression and body posture.
"W-w-what?" Lloyd stuttered, becoming slightly embarrassed.
"I know that expression, Jay does that whenever he thinks about Nya. Same thing when Kai liked Skylar." Cole explained.
"What do you mean by 'liked'?" Lloyd inquired.
"When I mentioned Skylar to Kai he said he doesn't want to talk about her anymore, something about liking someone else now," Cole stated with a shrug, taking a bite of his cake.
"He d-d-doesn't?" Lloyd questioned.
"Your stuttering a lot." Cole pointed out with a mouthful of cake.
"That's gross Cole," Lloyd stated in disgust at the sight of the mushed up food in Cole's mouth.
"Then don't look." Cole advised, "But back to what I ask... are you in love with someone?"
"Um..." Lloyd replied nervously.
"So you do! Who is it? I promise I won't tell the other guys." Cole promised.
"I'm not sure how you'll react..." Lloyd stated, looking at the ground.
"I won't judge you if it's a guy or a girl." Cole claimed, "I won't even laugh!"
"Fine... it's Kai." Lloyd confessed.
Cole choked on his cake for a second and started coughing. Eventually he calmed himself down and just stared at Lloyd blankly.
"Come again?" Cole questioned, thinking he must have heard wrong.
"You heard me, I like Kai. I like him A LOT." Lloyd emitted, becoming more comfortable with saying it.
"Um... hi Kai!" Cole exclaimed, looking behind Lloyd.
Lloyd sharply turned backwards and saw Kai walking by with a destroyed blue ninja suit in hand.
"Shush! Don't tell Jay!" Kai whispered sneakily before running off.
Lloyd stared at where Kai went before sighing lovingly.
"You were right, you like him A LOT!" Cole gasped.
