Hey Tinder folks! It's about time for a mother fricking update. Sorry the updates have slowed a bit I have all kinds of crazy things going on at work & my other stories are getting a little outta control too. But I always try to make some time for this story as it has a special place in my heart! Let's get it :)

Louis POV

"Haz, I said I was sorry," I say it into my phone receiver for the third time in a row.

I hear a sigh on the other end followed by silence.

"Haz, i know you're mad," I continue.

Silence again.

"Can You Just shut the fuck up, Louis!" Harry shouts, nearly screaming. "You're sorry, youre sorry, okay. It doesn't change what happened."

"Well what do You want me to do?" I ask. My parents yell something in German in the background and I answer them quickly.

"Oh my god," Harry huffs. "You're still doing it. Seriously, Louis you hate it when I talk in Spanish. You're such a hypocrite. It's rude to exclude people like this."

I'm getting frustrated now. He has a Point That my family was being rude and excluding him by not using English. I noticed how uncomfortable he was and repeatedly asked them to switch, but they simply said "he should learn German."

Honestly, this is more of a problem regarding my parents than it is regarding me. You see, I'm not going to tell Harry this, but they don't exactly love the fact that I'm with a guy. Even more so, they don't love the fact that I'm with a non-German guy. In fact, they despise it.

My parents are super traditional, and they always imagined me settling down with a Nice German girl from Frankfurt. Never in a million years did they expect me to be with a British guy. They kept saying it was a phase and romance would be fleeting with "that little friend of mind." But it's been nearly two years and I'm still with Harry, so they've decided to accept it - albeit, grudgingly.

"Haz," I breathe. "Listen, you're 100% right. It was inconsiderate and we shouldn't have done that. It won't happen again."

"Exactly, because they're leaving soon," Harry says. I imagine him pouting in his room and rolling his eyes all dramatically. He's so adorable even when he's mad.

"Actually...." I begin. "They're gonna stay for the rest of the summer."

"What?" Harry chokes.

"Yeah, it was a last minute thing. But it's okay. We will use English next time."

"You better," Harry replies. "But honestly Lou, I kept hearing you say 'Englisch' and them shaking their heads. Is there something you're not telling me?"

I bite my lip. I really don't feel like getting into this with him now, but he's left me no choice.

"Yeah, i was asking them to switch into English for you and they kept saying no...." I say.

"Wow. So they did it on purpose. They don't like me," Harry says flatly.

"No, Haz, it's not like that. They're very particular. They just feel more comfortable in -" But Harry cuts me off.

"No, they don't like me. They don't like that I'm British and that I'm a guy, probably. I get it. Most people don't like me. I'm nervous and awkward and make horrible first impressions," Harry babbles. "It's probably why my boss Lindsay hates me so much and won't let me do any real work. Why none of my coworkers agree to go out to coffee with me. It's why I have no friends at uni other than Niall and Zayn...."

"Harry, you're spiraling," I say, cringing a bit. I hate when he does this to himself. I hate when he puts himself down, convincing himself that he's the worst person in the world, that everything and everyone hates him. If only he could see how far from the truth all those thoughts really were....
