I thought for a minute before I responded with a huge smile saying "yes I would like to be your girlfriend"
When that left my mouth Jacob embraced me in a warm tight hug
At first, he didn't let go but after a while, he let go and said "come on I'll walk u home"
I smiled at his sweet gesture and we walked side by side with our hands interlocking
"He is so cute, how come I didn't notice his swipe back" I smiled as I thought to myself.
"What are u smiling about" I heard Jacob say breaking me out of my thoughts.
"Oh nothing important" I blushed and turned away so he didn't see how red my cheeks are.
The rest of the way to my house as we walked in a comfortable silence
We finally arrived at my house and I bid goodbye to Jacob before he left and I entered my house dashing up to my room and plopped down on my bed with a big smile on my face
"What a day," I thought to myself as I drifted off to sleep
The next morning ~
I woke up to a sweet text from my new boyfriend Jacob.
It read:
Jacob 💓: good morning cutie I hope u have an amazing day don't let anyone ruin it xoxo Jacob
Awe that is so sweet of him let me reply but what should I say I thought to myself
I got it I responded with the following text:
Lily: Good morning bby I hope you have an amazing day Love you lots <3
I smiled while shutting off my phone and slipped it into my back pocket.
I went back to lay back onto my bed, staring up at the ceiling thinking of what is to come for me and Jacob in the future.
Just to think a few months ago we met down by the city lights, Jacob, once known as Coffee shop boy was now with me
It was a dream come true
