I'm Hazel, your local dreamy romantic with a penchant for Graphics and aesthetics. I'm weak for everything Min Yoongi so I'll be judging this lovely category. I'm 19 years old and live in Belgium, although I'm a mix of a Spanish and an Asian parent. You can talk to me in Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Arabic and English of course :)
I haven't been on Wattpad for so long, but I can clearly see my account growing and it extremely motivates me to continue doing what I love, graphics designing. I'm not a very skilled writer but I'll still willing to try, I'm working on this book, Rosé, starring Min Yoongi. I have many unfinished books in my drafts so I kind off know some of the the downs of being an aspiring author and I'll try to give my main points:
1. Know the story beforehand. Never say 'I'll see what will happen' because you won't. I got stuck on many stories but me myself didn't know what was up next...
2. Don't change point of views when using the 'Me-form', I personally don't like to read this, it's confusing and I've never encountered a professional book in which the author does this. John Green never did. Nor did Vladimir Nabokov (correct me if I'm wrong).
3. Start with writing your favorite scene, if you're excited, the readers will be too.
So yes, this is what I learned in my short stay here, but like I said, I'm more active in Graphics designing so you can ring my bell whenever you have questions or need tips, I'll be always happy to help. I use Photoshop CC 2018 (software) to make my edits and I'm no pro, but I'm slowly improving. For resources I like Deviantart, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram and Pinterest, there are a lot of aesthetic and pretty pictures on there. Dm me for other info ;)
So voilà, that's a bit about my 'professional' self. I hope to make this competition as fun as possible and I really can't wait to read and see all of your masterpieces!
