hi butterflies! i'm toni. my favourite genre to write would be drama, chicklit and romance usually with a young adult theme running through all of them. although i do dabble in fantasy, angst, crime drama and mystery as well, it's just to be well rounded in my writing and push myself outside of what i'm used to.

while i'm honestly proud of all my books, the book i'm proudest of is a three-way tie between spring day, shades of summer and baby mama. the first because i was able to, in my own way, translate emotions i had experienced to my character. the second because honestly, i was in one of the most stressful times in my life but was still able to create something that felt truly beautiful in the middle of the chaos. and the last because it was a real challenge for me who always wrote short stories, but it was fun, and i was able to complete it without giving up.

hm, a fact about myself... i'm a lawyer. i made it out of law school a year ago, and honestly, i thought i wouldn't survive it for a short while. and i also love to draw and paint. all my notes are covered in doodles and scribbles.

i'm truly honoured to be one of the judges for this year's bangtan writers award and a part of the team with other amazing people. and i can't wait to discover more hidden gems on this app!

a message to other writers: your story should be as exciting for you to write as it is for others to read. if it begins to feel like a chore, it may be a sign that you're no longer writing for you. so never forget to enjoy writing even when you're pushing yourself out of your comfort zone.
