-Chapter Title Credit:Wake Me Up When September Ends by Green Day-

"Welcome to Nitz Cafe. How can I help you?"Gerard asked in a emotionless voice with a fake smile on his face.

The boy infront of the register was only a kid, around 8 maybe 9.

It was surprising, considering there was a park just around the corner where kids hung out all the time.

The boy just stared up at him with his hazel eyes.

Gerard dropped the fake smile and frowned at the kid as he stared unblinkingly up at Gerard.

"Gerard?"Bobs voice called from the kitchen behind him.

"Yeah?"Gerard called back not taking his eyes off the strange boy infront of him.

He was getting a very uncomfortable feeling in his stomach,as if he had just road a rollercoaster.

"What are you doing?"Bob demanded.

Gerard turned to face the kitchen just as Bob came out to peer at him.

"Oh I was taking this kids order."He said waving towards the boy.

Bobs eyes glanced over to where Gerard had gestured before locking eyes with Gerard,a look of seriousness painted his facial features.

"What?"

Bob cleared his throat,"Um Gerard...there's nobody there."

Gerard spun around immediately.

Sure enough the cafe was empty.

He looked around wildly.

THERE HAD BEEN A BOY!

He could'nt have left.

The bell would have rung.

Bob was looking extremely concerned at this point.

"Are you okay?"

Gerard glared at him.

"I'm fine."

Frank stared out his frosted bedroom window.

It was almost always cold in Baltimore.

He didn't mind though.

Baltimore was hard to get use to at first, but over time Frank adapted.

He finished high school here with not to many problems.

At first it was hard.

He hated Isobel and Alex and Baltimore and School and Life.

Frank was sobbing into his pillows every night.

Then one night after being there about two weeks,Alex heard Frank sobbing and ended up slipping into his room, comforting him until he fell asleep.

Then he learned Isobel was a decent person as well.

Kids at school adored Alex and began to leave Frank alone when they realized Alex would defend him.

He even made a few friends.

He had began to love Baltimore.

Frank sighed and turned away from the window to scan his surroundings.

He smiled at the boxes cluttering his bedroom floor.

But he loved New Jersey more,Wait no,He corrected himself,He loved GERARD more.
