A Few Months Later

So a couple of months have passed and nothing has changed I mean I haven't heard from my dad at all and his friends from the base and they says he was coming home today and I'm actually happy.

I'm also waiting for my little baby sister to get here so I can just hug get and kiss get and all that other stuff and for my mom she says she's going to miss her baby bump. I just know that she's just hoping that dad will be home when she gets here that's all .

Me and Melo are supposed to go to the fair tonight after my dad comes home this afternoon I was calling Melo and he was telling me that he loves me and just being funny and hyping me up while I was doing my hair and just kept laughing at him and he was just admiring the whole time and I loved that about just him loving me for who I am and just being there for me I love that about him.

I was then ready to go for the fair and I was in the living room with my mom in the kitchen talking a bit when I hear the front door open around LaMelo with roses in his hands and I said " Hey what are these for ? "

" I wanted to give up something for tonight and I know you love roses " He says handing them to me

" Aww that's so sweet of you " I said kissing his cheek

We then left my house in his car and going to the fair

LaMelo won me a teddy bear from a basketball booth and I loved the bear so much

We then got some food like burgers,fries and funnel cakes and some drinks and we sat down at a table and just talked a little bit and we took snapchat videos of each other

We then got on the ferris wheel and it was beautiful seeing the view from here and getting to see it LaMelo was even better

" I love it up here it's pretty " I said looking at him

" Yeah it's very ... romantic " He says smiling at me

I smiled at him and he leaned in and kissed me and kissed him back breaking the kiss saying " I love you LaMelo "

" I love you too baby " He said resting his arm around me

LaMelo dropped me off at home and he said he would come over tomorrow and he left to his house and I look I see a black SUV in the driveway and I open the door hoping to see my dad home but I seen something worse

I seen my mom crying and ran up to her that's when I asked her " What's wrong ? "

" Your father... he's gone "
