The snow had gotten deeper, it was now two or three inches deep.
This didn't bother them.
'He's almost there.' Chronos said.
'I fear we are making a mistake in waiting.' Kairos replied.
'I feel the same way,' Chronos seemed almost sad, 'but we must wait, that is how it must be.'
The snow had began to settle lightly on the trees, but it was not quite cold enough yet for icicles to form on the lamp posts.
'I have never,' Chronos said, thinking about what he was about to say, 'I have never felt anxious about something before.'
A blurry blew past them.
