She awoke with a throbbing pain in the back of her head.
She cradled the back of her head in her palm, wincing as she did so. She looked at her palm, thankfully there was no blood on it. Her eyes caught what remained of the final statue, she felt its unending stare was mocking her, she pushed it away with her hand and it rolled into the corner of the room.
'How long was I out?'
'A few hours, I was beginning to think you may never awake.'
He was stood by the door they had entered by, it was still ajar, she could just make out the faint glow of the orb.
'Come, we have little time to waste.'
Confused, she made the journey to her feet, a behemoth one in her current state.
The master closed the door they had entered by, shutting out the light red emanating from the other side. He put the stone key back into the lock, turning it away from him until a thunk was heard, and turned it back to him, creating a thank sound.
He pushed the door open.
'Master, I don't understand...'
He smiled an evil, and knowing smile.
