'This is the orb.' Joshua said, drawing their attention away from the vault, the secrets of this room were not for them to know, especially not that vault...
It was a think to behold, it was alive. It swirled like an ocean of black and red, like a giant living marble, floating a metre off the floor.
'The orb can only transport up to five at a time.' Joshua told them.
'That's fine,' Raphael answered, unable to take his gaze from the orb, 'only four of us are going.'
Kai, Apphia, James, and Lei stepped forward.
'To travel by orb, you simply place your hands upon it, the orb will do the rest. I would suggest you all place your hands at the same time; a temporal delay on this side will cause a spacial one on the other.'
They stood around the orb, forming four points of a compass. They shared a look, as if to say Ready? and simultaeneously placed their hands on it.
The orb sucked them in,and then there were four standing in the safe room.
