"Why are you staying at the Four Seasons?" Archie asked as she got in the car. Still with a slight smile from what just had happened in the lobby. As well as blushed cheeks and eyes shimmering with the intense love she felt for the boy without clothes. She figured it was better to tell Archie the truth.
"Mom kicked me out." She said as she opened her phone. A text from Jughead appeared on the screen.
You. Me. Tonight.
She smiled. She knew what was going to happen. And she couldn't wait.
"Why did she do that?" Archie looked at her with worry.
Only if you promise to wear a shirt. And PANTS
She replied. As they got even closer to the school Betty saw the house where she lived. It looked so innocent. She wondered what people thought when they drove past. If they knew the secrets that house held.
"Because she kind of found me in Jug's shirt. He was there too. Mom saw his Serpent jacket and freaked." She sighed and looked at the text from Jughead and couldn't help but smile. Her stomach filled with butterflies.
Only if you promise to take them off
She rolled her eyes at his rudeness. She loved this side of him.
"Wow." Was Archie's only answer. Betty looked at him.
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have..." She hid her face in her hands.
"It's okay Betty." He said and she could hear the sadness in his voice. As he parked the car she quickly got out and found Veronica on the parking lot. She smiled at Betty and walked closer. After a quick hug she looked at Archie.
"Why did you come with him?" Betty shrugged.
"It's such a long story." But Veronica just waited for her to talk. As she opened her mouth she blurted out everything that had happened the past 12 hours. Veronica just stood there and nodded. Listening to every word Betty said. When she was done Veronica hugged her.
"I'm so sorry honey." She said.

The day felt like it would never end. It certainly was one of those days were one minute was far longer than 60 seconds. The only thing that kept Betty going was the constant texts she got from Jughead. All very playful. She smirked, smiled, laughed and rolled her eyes countless times that day. Even though her lack of sleep made her head slow and all she wanted to do was lay her head on a soft pillow and fall asleep in Jughead's arms she kept going. Knowing she would see him tonight. Knowing she would kiss him. When she looked at the clock for the hundredth time she saw to her relief that it was only two minutes left. As she started to pack up she felt Archie stare at her from behind. She turned around and his eyes quickly looked away. As the bell rang she stood up and grabbed her bag to walk outside.
"Do you want me to drive you back to the hotel?" Archie asked and she turned around.
"Yeah. I'd love to. Thank you." She had not even thought about how she'd get home so she was happy that he asked her.
"No problem." He smiled. "So what do you think about the biology assignment?" Betty looked at him with raised brows. Not quite sure what he was talking about. "The assignment we just got?" He shook her head and laughed at her. "Wow you really didn't listen did you?"
"I did I just..." Betty started.
"You just thought about how amazing I was to drive you to school." He winked and gave her a smirk and she smiled and hit him on the shoulder. No matter what had happened between them she was happy he could still act as if nothing had happened. She didn't want to date him again but he was still one of her closest friends.
"Yeah that's definitely what it was." She rolled her eyes and he smiled. As they walked outside the doors he explained the assignment about the human anatomy.
"Wow I really should've payed attention." She sighed and he shook his head.
"Yeah. Well I thought that maybe we could...you know work together on the project." Betty smiled.
"Sure. Why not? Tomorrow?" Archie gave her a warm smile. Showing how happy he was that she didn't reject him.
"I'm actually...going on a date tomorrow." He said. And Betty's eyes widened.
"Seriously?" He nodded and she felt kinda weird. "Won't you look at that. Archie is already back out there." She smiled and he looked at the ground. "I'm happy for you." He looked at her and smiled. When she, surprising enough, hugged him his smile grew even bigger. A smile that disappeared as soon as he let her go. He stared at something behind her. And she immediately knew who it was.
