"Jughead?" Jellybean asked and Jughead turned to her in the bed. "Are you in a gang?" Jughead looked at her for a few seconds.
"Yeah." He simply replied. But he knew she wanted more information.
"Is it dangerous?" Jughead shrugged. He thought about the gun he had to his head, how Malachai had tortured him, how Mark had raped Toni.
"I guess." Jellybean bit her lip as it trembled. "But don't worry." He said calmingly. "I won't get hurt. I promise." Jellybean sat up in the huge bed and Jughead looked at her.
"Mom always told me that you didn't want to go with us. That you wanted to stay in Riverdale with dad. And when I turned ten last year I told her I wanted to go see you...but uhm...she didn't let me." Jughead looked at his sister. "She said that you were dangerous because you were in this gang." Jughead shook his head and smiled.
"The lies in this family." He scoffed. "I myself aren't dangerous. But yes, some of the Serpents are not people I want you to meet, but at the end of the day I'm their leader and they would never question me." It was true. No one dared.
"Maybe...I could come with you to Riverdale?" Jughead wondered what their life would look like if she would come with him.
"Why?" He asked. He didn't want her to come anywhere near their dad. He was too...complicated.
"I don't know...I just miss you Jughead. And he is my dad after all." Jughead knew she was right. FP was her dad. But FP was also a drunk abusive asshole.
"I don't think that's a good idea." Jughead said. "Dad is...he's not sober." Jellybean nodded.
"I know. He probably never will be. But I want to be with you." The words hurt him more than he thought it would. He wanted to be with her too. So much. But everything was too messed up for her to be able to live in Riverdale. Maybe if his dad was sober and Malachai stopped trying to kill him. But that wasn't the case. Jughead was too messed up. He would probably fuck her up aswell. Like he fucked up Betty. Betty. Jughead thought about what she did. If she was okay. If she missed him as much as he missed her. He remembered her once saying that on Thursday nights after dinner her parents and her sister used to go to Pop's and drink milkshakes. He wondered if they did it that day. When he had decided to go to his sister and mom. If Betty sat at Pop's with her mom, drinking strawberry milkshake and laughing as much as he and Jellybean did a few minutes ago. He found himself wondering what she was doing more often.
"I want to be with you too, but it's not really safe in Riverdale for you yet." Jughead truthfully said.
"Maybe when I'm older? I could join the Serpents, right?" She said and Jughead smiled.
"I don't think that's a good idea young lady." She sighed and he sat up beside her.
"I would look cool in that jacket, wouldn't I?" She said as she pointed at Jughead's leather jacket. He smiled.
"Stand up." She did what she was told and he took of the Serpent jacket. He put it on her and she giggled.
"I look so cool." She observed herself in the mirror and gave herself some terrifying looks. Jughead sat down on the bed. "I want one Jughead." Jughead shook his head as he laughed silently.
"I don't think mom would appreciate it." She shrugged and made a little gun with her fingers. She turned to him and glared at him.
"Hands up." He put his hands in the air and bit his tongue to avoid laughing at her. "Listen to me," She walked closer to him and put the finger against his head. "either you give me a jacket or I'll shoot you." He pretended to be scared and forced himself not to think about the last time he was in this position. How Malachain had threatened him and how Betty desperately had told him to shoot her instead of Jughead. He slowly shook his head.
"Fine...the next time I visit I'll give you a jacket." Jellybean smiled and lowered the pretended gun. "As long as you promise not to tell mom."
"I promise." She squeaked and ran back to the mirror. "You are going to be a gang member JB." Jughead laughed and shook his head.

"Honey! We're home!" A man shouted from the first floor. Jughead looked at Jellybean and she nodded slightly. She took off the jacket and Jughead put it on as he walked downstairs with her. He looked at Leonard and a little girl dressed in a pink dress. He smiled awkwardly and Leonard smiled back.
"Hi." Leonard said and Jughead nodded shortly.
"Hello." He quickly replied. The little girl, who held Leonards hand, smiled at Jughead. Her eyes were as grey as Leonard's but she was definitely cuter. Jughead looked at the little girl with blonde, curly hair, unsure of what to do and how to act. His mother entered the hall and gave Leonard a kiss. She picked Glimmer up and Jughead bit his inner cheek.
"Glimmer, this is Jughead. Your brother." Gladys said and Glimmer looked at Jughead.
"Hello." Glimmer said and Jughead smiled slightly at her.
"Hello." He said and Glimmer hid her face in her mom's chest, too shy to look at Jughead.
"She's a bit shy." Gladys said and Jughead nodded. He put his hands in his pockets and looked at Leonard.
"I'm sorry uh...for...you know..." Jughead mumbled as he tried to find the words. He wasn't sorry, not at all, he just wanted his mom to love him. And he thought the only way for her to love him was if he apologized to Leonard. If he did better.
"Don't worry about it." Leonard said and Jughead looked away. "We all have bad days." He smiled and Jughead nodded. "How long will you be staying for?" Jughead looked at Gladys.
"A week." He replied.
"I'm looking forward to it." Jughead didn't know what to say so he replied with a simple 'okay'.
