a wondrous mystery—you were exactly that. a face known to all, one almost every female adores. every move you did, whether it'd be your slender fingers holding your pen, or even the way you'd stare into oblivion as if you were thinking of something as deep as something i doubt i can comprehend.

each time our eyes would meet by chance, you'd smile, i'd smile back, of course. it's funny how it's just a small smile and yet, it always makes my day. no matter how identical and how many times you'd do it in a day, it's something anyone could never get tired of.

and with one, two, or even three heartbeats added at every rate, once we'd separate our eyes, it'd be my boring reality again.

for real, if i can hope out loud, i'd love to hope that this—what we're having as of the moment, eyes meeting, only my heart pounding, and only friendship traced from your sweet gaze—would last, if not forever, just for a while.
