Hayden~

I pick up Kai, Noah and Leo from school after mine had finished. I casually drove the car with the radio lowly playing music and I left the windows opened just because I like the breeze from outside blowing through my hair.

"Hayden can we stop by at Kenny's?" Leo asks, which is a corner store where they sell candy and chips and all that.

I look over at him as he proceeds to annoyingly tap me on the arm as I shove him away and cock a brow, "Why?"

"I wanna get some candy and junk. Come on." He asks. I would like to get some things too but I really needa stop eating so much junk food. Alexia might be right...

So I shook my head as I rolled up the windows because the breeze is starting to get annoying, "No. I got a lot of homework I need to get home." I blissfully breathe as he straight faces me, squinting his eyes "Please."

"No."

"Please!"

"Nooo!"

He groans and leans his head onto the window. "You're so uptight." he mumbles, crossing his arms and I laugh to myself, stopping at a red as I quickly apply some lil gloss to my lips in the rear view mirror above us

"And you act like a baby." I taunt back. I turn the corner and just as I was gonna start driving again, I see the car starting to smoke from the front. I gasped unintentionally and stopped the car, sitting in my seat for a moment, "Uh Hayden?" Leo says, pointing to the smoke and I kissed my teeth

"There's smo-"

"I know that." I snap

"Then-"

"I'm scared!"

"Pull over dumbass!" He exclaims and I slowly park the car at a curb and take a deep breath getting out and walking in front of it. I bit my pointer finger lightly as I examined the hood—

"Shoot." I whisper to myself. Leo gets down too as made the twins stay in the car. "What's wrong with it?" He asks

I sigh shrugging my shoulders a little as I stop biting my finger, "I dont know."

"Y'all need help?" I hear a familiar voice ask as I turn around to face  Michael leaning against a tree with his phone in his hand cocking a brow.

I didn't respond at first as I kinda lost my voice but I snapped out of it and nodded my head, "Um y-yeah. We do."

How's he everywhere?

Leo leaned up to my ear, "Is that the guy dad was talking about?" He whispers and I slowly nodded my head

He grunted as he lifted himself from leaning against the tree. He had a black leather jacket draping across his shoulder—which he briefly swiped off as it landed in the grass. He placed his phone in his pocket and slowly approached us, squinting his eyes at the car for a few moments, "What happened?" He asks and I cleared my throat

"It just started smoking out of nowhere." I say as he locks eyes with me. The way he looks at me, with so much desire.

He exhales, running his tongue across the insides of his mouth and crosses his arms observing the car for a little while longer. Finally he uncrossed his arms and looked at me again—

"Pop the hood." he simply says. I cock a brow and stand there like an idiot, not really knowing what to do

"Huh?" I ask

"I said,pop the hood." he repeats

I stand there like a deer in headlights, as I kept my hands behind my back. I pursed my lips and didn't move from my spot
