It's the day of Hayden's school dance and she's quite nervous. She's worried Michael might feel jealous of her going with someone else. She knows how he can be.

She's currently in school, last period of the day. As soon as the bell rang she got out of her seat and walked out the school with her bag and stuff and she was going to walk home only because her dad needed the car for the day but a voice stopped her making her pause and look to her left, seeing Andre—her date to the dance

"Aye Hayden!" he calls. She smiles at him. "Oh hi Andre." she says

Andre gives her a quick once over, admiring her body in her skinny jeans and tshirt. "So uh..you ready for the dance tonight?" he asks her licking his lips brushing his dreads off his shoulders

Hayden rolls her eyes playfully. "Yeah Andre. You've asked me like a thousand times. And what color are you wearing?"

He thinks for a second. "Just a black button up with a bow tie to match it." he shrugs

"Perfect." She smiles, "make sure your bow tie is like dark red or something. That's the color I'm wearing. It'll look cute if we're matching." Hayden explains and brings out her phone checking the time

"Ight I will. Anything to match my girl." Andre winks. Hayden chuckles and shakes her head at him as she puts her phone back into her purse. "You know we're going as friends right?" She clarifies raising her brows

Andre chuckles back placing a hand in his pockets. "How could I forget? I know you datin' Michael and he real scary." he says, but not showing his fear

Hayden raises her brows even higher. "So you're scared of him too?" she inquired and he shrugs again. "Bet yo ass I am girl, cuz he crazy." he replies

Hayden straight faces him, "Yeah..dont call him that. You'll regret it later." She says and Andre bites his tongue.

"Anyway I gotta get going." Hayden says turning around. She's pretty used to Andre being all flirty. He's just like that. That's how he is. She knows he likes her as a friend-

at least she thought..

Andre then grabs her arm causing her to turn back around with furrowed brows as she pulls the strap of her book bag higher up her shoulder

"What?" she asks him and Andre sighs briefly looking up at the sky—preparing to ask her the question he's been itching to ask

"You and Michael ain't serious are you?" he asks her and furrows her brows again. "Why are you asking?" she questions

Andre shrugs looking down. He's always had this tiny crush on Hayden that's been going on for a couple months but she's completely oblivious to it

"I dunno." He shrugs, "Just askin'. I think issa good idea if we..take a picture in the photobooth tonight kissin'."

Hayden crosses her arms. "Nah uh." She declines shaking her head while closing her eyes. "I only kiss Michael because we're together. Nobody else." She vows

"BUT it's just for act. So people will think we datin'. Just to look romantic for this dance." he shrugs again

Hayden shakes her head yet again. "No. Quit being weird." She scolds him as she shoves him in the shoulder lightly and was about to walk away

Out of nowhere, Andre leans into her, stealing a kiss from her. Hayden pushes him off of her forcefully and steps back about to shoot her mouth off at him but he interrupts him
