Michael was able to keep Hayden in the motel for about another day, Sunday, before he finally gave in—came to his senses.

She had been giving him the silent treatment. Something he knew too well of. It was starting to annoy him. He started to feel alone.

But in his mind, he didn't know why she was so angry with him. He had become his normal self again—his eyes lightening up to its normal color. He was more calm and aware. He was confused about almost everything.

He packs up their stuff and they go to the car ready to go home. His plan of keeping her there didn't work. But it would've most definitely worked on Sky

They get into the car, and he starts driving. The car ride was quiet and the atmosphere was tense. Hayden's had the same scowl on her face with her arms crossed all day so far. She looks out the window watching the birds fly past and the trees blowing in the wind

He glances over at her a couple times, not liking the silence and bitterness. She was far from happy. "Hayden talk to me." he breathes

She rolls her eyes, ignoring him once more, peering out of the window in spite and he calls her again-

"Hayden."

She sighs and finally looks over at him. "Michael I don't wanna talk to you. Please just drive, I wanna go home." She replied

"Can you jus' tell me everything that happened?" He sighed, running his hand down his face

"I don't wanna talk to you." She repeated, her words were tight

"I ain't fully understandin' everything right now." He said

"Hm." She hummed, and peered at the window again

"You ain't tryna hear me out?"

She sighed and cut her eyes over to him again. "You swear you're taking your pills when what you did said the complete opposite. I don't know what mindset you were in but you technically kidnapped me and held me hostage in some motel for a how long? If you were taking your pills you'd be getting better like you swear you're doing. You never want help so I don't know what to do at this point. Just take me home."

And he could hear the venom in her voice

He said no more and looked straight ahead at the road again. The rest of the drive was excruciatingly quiet. The sound of a pin could drop and you would be able to hear it

Finally, he pulls up to her house, and without a word, she gets out the car, slamming it shut and struts into her house. He watches as she never once looked back at him

What's on his mind concludes in his apartment being a complete mess.

On the other hand, Hayden enters her house and it happens to be very loud right now. Her cousins are over right now and she knows that includes Naia and Aliyah and some of her older cousins

I entered the kitchen full of my aunties and uncles walking around—some of which I haven't seen since I was younger

I looked around at everyone and bit my pointer finger, realizing how much I've already missed in such short time. My mama spots me and stands up from her seat immediately walking over to me

"Hayden thank God you're back! I was thinking you wouldn't be here to see your cousins!" She says and I knitted my brows and looked around again. "W-what?" I stuttered
