Hayden~

I couldn't feel my whole body, I was frozen.

His lips connected to mine and I dont kiss back at first because I'm so shocked but soon I relaxed and closed my eyes doing it back. His hands grazed my hips briefly but dropped back to his sides.

The kiss lasted for like 10 seconds before I broke it,  stepping back with loss of words. My cheeks burned immensely as I caught my breath from the breathless kiss we shared and I couldn't believe what just happened.

Its silent as he's looking straight at me in the eyes again and he curses to himself biting his lip and sighs looking like he regretted it.

"W-why?" I stuttered furrowing my brows at him and tilting my head to the side. I want to know why he suddenly just kissed me like that with no warning

He exhales slowly and looks away—over his shoulder and as he scratches his neck a little in the process. His body sways lightly in anxiousness,"It was an accident." he finally said

My face twisted up in confusion, "What?" I asked.

"You needa leave." his voice is so low that it almost sounds like a whisper. His eyes don't connect to mine as he says this and he looked to his sides almost in embarrassment and regret

I blink twice and stand there sheepishly as I slowly backed away and walked towards the door leaving. I said nothing. I'm slightly mad that he kissed me and said it was a mistake, and also mad that I even allowed him to kiss me. I shouldn't be talking to him. I mean..I dont really believe all the rumors about him, but that doesn't mean they aren't true

But I walked out lightly slamming the door behind me and I checked my phone as I walked down the hallway to see if I had any missed calls from Aliyah because I took longer than I thought.

I don't wanna believe it but to be honest I kinda liked the kiss. I haven't been kissed that many times, and I've been asked out a couple of times, but I never accepted.

I just continue to walk down the hallway looking for Aliyah as I turn every corner in search for her and finally I catch her by a vending machine getting herself some twizzlers. She squats down to retrieve it then looks back at me, opening her candy

"There you are. Whatchu forget in the car?" she asks, chewing on one and I quickly though of a lie, "Um...my phone." I reply sighing afterwards as I nervously chuckle and show it to her, "See?"

All the while the feeling of his lips are still on mine. And it wont go away.

"Ight come on." she says and I follow her down the hall to her friend's apartment soon after. "Is your friend mean or anything? If he is I wanna leave." I cower as I whined to myself. She kisses her teeth and elbows me in the side, "Hayden quit bein' scared he ain't bad."

"But-"

"Shhhh." She shushes me and knocks on his door, and soon it opens, revealing Scott as he wore a smile on his face the moment he saw us, "Aye Liyah!" He exclaims, giving her a quick side hug. I shyly stood there as they separated and he looks over at me and grins. "Brought the pretty one eh? How you doin Hayden?" he asks. I smile back and say I'm okay but really I'm still thinking about Michael and how he kinda itty bitty hurt my
feelings—

He invited us inside as we sat on the couch and he offers us drinks—but I declined because I don't drink, so I asked for a soda

Aliyah makes herself comfortable and takes a sip of her drink, "Nigga yo ass needa move out. Over here livin in the same building as Michael." She sneers

Scott just chuckles taking his sip of beer

I roll my eyes at the fact that every conversation around here is about Michael
