Temptations

One Sunday afternoon after church 8 months ago, Janet sits on the couch talking to a friend on the phone.

Michael had just broken up with Sky. The notorious Sky everyone keeps talking about. He had also stopped getting therapy sessions from Marcus, Aliyah's dad. After what happened to Sky, Michael never got charged with anything by the police. And the reason is quite simple.

Anyway, Janet was a big gossip too. Just like Aliyah. She was telling her friend all about the situation about Michael and Sky.

Michael comes downstairs, still in his feelings about the whole situation. He was depressed and miserable, irritable, and just not in the mood for days

Nobody messed with him

"Michael come help me put these groceries away." Katherine calls to him, and he walks to the kitchen stretching his arms before he looked around and rummaged through the bags, putting them away

He heard Janet laugh from the living room. "He totally messed her up!" she laughs and his head snaps up to her statement.

This is when he started to completely hate when someone talked about Sky. His breathing increases and he glares at Janet from a distance.

Katherine walks upstairs to change from her church clothes, leaving just Janet and Michael downstairs. "They dated for like...a year or more. I dont know why it all went downhill. It was crazy."

She said the word. The word everyone's been calling Michael lately ever since the Sky situation.

Michael's blood was boiling so hot, that he squeezed the apple right to its juices.

"Janet shut the fuck up." He gritted at her from the kitchen, causing her to snap her head to him with her lips shut. "What's your problem?" she snaps at him rolling her eyes

"I told you not to talk about her." Michael lowly says back walking closer to her and she waves him off continuing her conversation with her friend

- "Sorry he's just being annoying. Anyway, as I was saying, he didn't get arrested or anything. I mean I wouldn't want him to. He's my brother. But I still think the situation was unfair. Sky didn't deserve that."

"Janet, imma tell you one more time, to shut the fuck up."

Janet isn't scared of him at this point and is used to arguments with her brothers so this is nothing to her Michael has that look in his eyes now. The look that nobody except Sky really knew about.

"He's looking at me all weird now like that scares me." she laughs, "I don't know how he got all crazy like this." She gossips

and that sends Michael over the edge. He picks her up, having her over his shoulder as she laughs thinking he's just playing with her

"Put me down!" she laughs

He takes her to the bathroom downstairs and places her in the bathtub. The look still in his eyes, as if he's not mentally here.

"What are you doing?!" she asks furrowing her eyebrows as she tries to get up but he pins her down, starting to fill the bathtub with water "Michael stop my dress is getting wet!" she shouts hitting him across the chest, attempting to get out of his grasp but he isn't budging

The water fills to the top and he turns off the water. Janet's eyes widen when she finally realizes what he's doing

"Help! Mommy! Daddy! Somebody help!" she screams as Michael covers her mouth.
