Chapter 25: The Visitor

"So...", I began - interrupting the episode of The Office, we were watching.
"...Aiden - umm - asked me to move in with him", I said cautiously - not wanting the boys to freak out.
"Oh.", Noah replied indifferently, a little too indifferently.
"OH MY GOD!!! NOOOO - REALLY? - WHO KNEW? - THIS IS NEWS - WHAT?" - Mason ranted in a surprisingly high pitch.
"Err - you guys already knew, didn't you?", I asked suspiciously.
"Dude - you were supposed to be cool about it", Noah accused Mason.
"Not that cool. You didn't even flinch - she would've totally figured it out", Mason defended.
"When did Aiden tell you?", I asked impatiently.
There was silence.
"Come on, guys - it's too late to hide anything anymore - he's already in trouble - you not telling me would only make it worse", I threatened.
"The day after the fashion show", Noah muttered.
"He asked us about it - whether we would be alright with the change - and if we could find someone else for the room - he was being considerate, Lessie - don't blame the poor guy for that ", Mason explained.
"Poor guy?", I sounded annoyed.
"and - you want to replace me with someone else? - ", I gasped.
"You know that's impossible right?", Noah countered patiently.
"What about Pablo? I can't leave Pablo - and the loft doesn't allow pets!!!", I argued.
"Well - Pablo will obviously continue to stay here - and it's not like you won't visit", Mason rolled his eyes.
"You'll probably end up spending most of your time here anyway - I mean, Aiden already does - even if you're not around.", Noah added.
"Gee - thanks", I stated sarcastically.
"You know what I mean", Noah quickly retorted.
"And here I thought you'd fight to make me stay - what the hell is with this turn of events? - I wanted to be fought for, dammit!", I sighed while I rested my head on Noah's shoulder as we continued to watch the rest of the episode.
"There - there, Lessie darling", Mason comforted as he lied down, resting his head on my lap.
"What did you tell him though?", Noah asked curiously.
"Umm - well - I told him I needed time - ", I replied hesitantly.
"Ah.", Noah sounded and Mason made no comment. I mean, this was a big deal - a huge change if anything - was I ready for it? God only knew!
"Are you guys coming to Covent Garden, tonight?", Noah asked lazily as the episode ended.
"Hmm...yeah probably", I yawned as the next episode began.

"Who has the three of clubs?", Kara questioned.
"Me.", Logan said while putting a three of clubs and a three of spades together.
We were playing our sixth round of president at Covent Garden - Kara and I had become president twice while Aiden and Liam had become president once, so far.
