It had been quite an intresting school year for Constance, who as of late began taking walks around the castle grounds to clear her head. Usually writing stories would have done the trick, but something about the situation told her not to do that. Pluse she desperately needed some fresh air for 6th year was no picnic.

From time to time she also visited Deidra as the woman had much to tell and teach. In the last few weeks they began a debate about Fanged Geranium, which Deidra knew unusually a lot about. But from time to time she told a story or two, most about her and this Jane, whom she was apperently great friends with.

The girl was just making her way through the green leaves of a bush that had grown over the path until the sound of a snapping branch alerted her of another presence.

Without a second thought the girl froze and listened closely as she hid herself behind the leaves. But there was nothing.

The silnece streched as she waited to see if she was only being paranoid or there was actually someone there.

After waiting for so long with her heart pounding in her chest the girl almost thought she had only imagined the sound. And she was just about to continue the walk when the cracking sound repeated itself and this time a face came into view.

The black curles seemed so fomiliar as the boy walked further towards the Black Lake and for some unknown reason Constance decided to follow him almost compromising her position when she moved around in the bushes. Fortuntely for her Regulus didn't move much and soon settled for a seat on the ground observing the lake.

The shadows looked so permanent on the boy's face it seemed almost unreal. His expression looked serious and guarded. And his posture as tense as ever. His eyes weee darting in every direction possible. He almost seemed paranoid.

Had Regulus always been like that? So tense? He didn't seem like that in the room of Requirement.

Suddenly the boy started to relax bit by bit. It was almost as if the lake had a calming effect on him and before he knew it he leaned over his satchel pulling out something his back hid from view so the girl stood slightly higher trying to see what it was.

The surprise however was now on her as she saw her own book. The book she had lent him only a few days ago. The whole situation only seemed to draw a big smile on her face as she felt a warm feeling in her stomach.

Over the next few weeks Regulus Black became a reader of a kind. He read about a peculiar girl called Alice who entered a world filled with magic.

A year ago he would have found the idea absolutely preposterous. The writer talked about a magic land and its' wondrous creatures. And for a muggle he didn't do such a bad job, but the idea was almost absurd to the boy and probably any other pureblood wizard. Nontheless there was something that intrigued Regulus about the book like it did with the girl a year ago.
