Awhile ago I had my very first school fight in my entire life, a few seconds later, now I'm sitting in front of our school dean with Maryce seated beside me. We're both drenched with our own sweat and blood as if we've been going through a world war.
Vivien and some two other girls are also here with us. Our school dean was obviously disappointed by what we had done. He can't believe that he'll see me one day sitting in front of his desk because of a school fight. Well, I didn't expect to be here either.
"I swear Mr. Morris, I didn't do anything wrong! Bigla nalang ako sinugod ng babaeng ito kahit wala akong atraso sa kanya! " pag d-drama ni Maryce, kino-comfort naman siya ng mga alagad niya. "I already apologized to Vivien about that bullying matter and she forgave me. I t-thought okay na kaming lahat but then s-she . . . this girl just suddenly attacked me! "
"S-she's lying! Sollace is innocent, tinulungan niya lang po ako mula sa pambubugbog nila!" pagtatanggol ni Vivien sakin. Pinipilit magsalita kahit nahihirapan. She even refused to be taken to the hospital although she's injured badly.
"Oh really? Malapit na niya akong mapatay tapos proud ka pang ipagtanggol 'yan! "
"But you nearly beat me to death too! " Vivien screamed, pointing at her bruised face.
The school dean was having a headache while listening to their testimony. Hindi niya malaman kung sino sa'min ang nagsasabe ng totoo.
"We saw Sollace choking Maryce! You even tried to stop her but she didn't listen. Dapat ngang makulong ang babaeng 'yan, sobrang abusado sa kayamanan ng pamilya niya. " giit ng isang alagad ni Maryce.
"Hala hindi po totoo ang mga pinagsasabe nila! "
Napahilot sa sintido si Mr. Morris tsaka napahinga ng malalim samantalang nagsisigawan silang lahat. Nanatili lamang akong tahimik sa kinauupuan.
"You . . . Ms. Argaze. "
Natahimik silang lahat nang banggitin niya ang pangalan ko.
"Why aren't you saying anything? Why aren't you defending yourself? "
"If I defend myself, will you believe me?" I asked him back, looking at him straight in the eyes.
