Seke set Apolline down upon the makeshift bed, his eyes looked at the cut on her ankle. As he looked she couldn't help but feel very embarrassed, she really wished she knew how to take care of wounds.

That way Seke didn't have to do everything for her, seeing he did so much for her already.

He kept her alive. Looked out for her. Showed her kindness.

It was just shocking that he did that for her, while she couldn't do anything for him. Apolline didn't know what he liked or what she could get for him. It was just so hard sometimes, since the both of them came from different worlds.

Apolline flinched as he touched her cut, she fought back a whimper that wanted to make itself known. The pain was just so sharp, she couldn't help but feel even more vulnerable than she already was.

Seke stood up calmly as he walked to another room, while she lay on the bed looking at her injury. She must of cut it deeper than she had thought, only cause it hurt incredibly bad.

When Seke returned he held a large bowl with a makeshift rag inside of the bowl. This made her curious, what kind of medicine did they have here. She would have to imagine that the medicine here was not as strong as the medicine back home.

Apolline watched as Seke sat down on one of his knees, he picked up the rag and began running it slowly over her cut. She closed her eyes fast to the pain that shot through her.

"O-ow!", she whimpered out lightly.

Seke clearly took notice of her reaction, he stopped and looked at her silently with a sad look in his eyes. She opened her eyes and she looked at him in light surprise, he clearly felt bad for causing her pain.

How could someone so different and look intimidating be so compassionate and kind?

Apolline felt flustered as she took a hold of her hair and combed her fingers through it. She also started thinking about probably taking a bath, but that meant that she would have to take it outside.

She flinched lightly as Seke continued to rub the rag over her wound.

This world was so different, and dangerous yet luck would have it for her to be here with Seke and Hurit. She honestly couldn't ask for anything else, since she doubted that everyone here was kind.

Apolline had stared off into space thinking about home, she really missed electricity now. That and hot water.

But most of all she missed her parents as well as her boyfriend. She wished she could go back home, but she didn't know if that was possible. For all she knew she would be stuck here forever.

Seke tied something on her ankle which got her attention, she looked at him curiously as he picked up the bowl and rag. She frowned of course for she wanted to say thank you to him. But the language barrier was yet again against her.

She felt lonely only cause she couldn't talk to anyone here, they all spoke a different language. Apolline really wanted to talk to someone, more or less she wanted to vent to somebody. She had so much on her chest that she wanted to get rid of.

Sighing, Apolline looked at her ankle and blinked softly at the bandage that Seke tied to her. He really did a good job on mending her wound.

Speaking of Seke, he walked into another room.

As Apolline lays back in bed, she softly shifts to lay on her side. She closed her weary eyes as she took in calm breaths. For once she was glad to be somewhere safe. It was not long until sleep crept up on her, she was clearly exhausted from her experience.
