Aditya and Meghna were at a coffee shop after their busy day relaxing a bit. When Meghna received a text message
Nisha di : hey meghna are u free..if free plz call..
Meghna immediately called her cousin..after two rings or so she picked up the call
"hey di whatsup?"
"hey meghna this is not fair. ..tera rishta tay hogaya aur tune hume bataya bhi nahi..humare jeeju se kab milwaegi..masi na batati toh tu shaadi se pehle shayad hume batati bhi nahi na...(this is not fair meghna your marriage is fixed and you didn't inform us about it..so when are you going to introduce us to our brother in law..if aunty wouldn't have informed..you would have hide it till marriage or what?)"saying this she started laughing...
"no di its nothing like that.."
before Meghna could speak further her sister said
"are you both free on sunday we all could meet..what say?"
Meghna immediately asked Aditya who was busy gulping his donuts and coffee.
"adi are you free on sunday my maternal cousins are insisting to meet you..if you don't have any problem can we meet them"
Aditya excitedly smiled at her and said
"yupp..I am free and ofcourse we can meet them...it would be nice.."
Meghna smiled at him and said to her sister on line
"hey di we are free..you ask everyone and tell me the place and timing..and will go for lunch and it would be my treat no arguments on it ok.."
Nisha agreed to her and hanged up the call.
Meghna turned towards Aditya and said
"thanks..adi..they all are eager to meet you.."
" no need to thank me meghna..they all are family now.."
Meghna nervously said
"adi you met my paternal cousins right..thats the reason nisha di was insisting on meeting you as my other cousins already met you"
"hey..they are like my cousins always competing for getting the preference..its all normal don't worry.."
Meghna smiled at him.
At night it was decided that they would be meeting at mall at 11.30 am and then after lunch they would go to worli sea link..
On Sunday..
Meghna was getting ready when her phone started ringing...it was Aditya's call
"Meghna what should I wear formals or casuals.."
Meghna smiled at his nervousness...surely he would be nervous he was going to meet her family for the first time..meghna wasn't that nervous meeting Aditya's family because she practically knew everybody due to sakshi..she teasingly replied
