Calum's POV
“Was there tongue involved?” Michael asked.
I nodded.
“And how long was it?”
“About 30 seconds.” I muttered as I felt my cheeks redden.
Blushing happens every time I think of how I kissed Robbie. Which is most of the time.
But I always end up being confused and devastated when I think about how she ran away. That is why we’re in Ashton and Luke’s room talking about it.
What does she mean by running?
Does she hate me?
I knew it.
I never should’ve kissed her.
Robbie doesn’t like me like that.
But she responded back.
It felt so right.
“And she just ran?” Luke interrupted my thoughts. “Just like that?”
I nodded, again.
Suddenly, Michael laughed and slapped Ashton on the shoulder.
“Told you he’d make the first move.” He said.
“Yeah yeah.” Ashton replied as he handed Michael a 20.
“You guys bet on this??” I was shocked. DO they think this is a game?
“Yeah! And why didn’t you tell me?” Luke said. “I could’ve won!”
“Don’t side with them!” I told him. “I can’t believe you would bet on my relationship with Robbie.”
“That’s a good question. Is there a relationship between you and Robbie, Calum?” Ashton mockingly asked.
“Oh Fuck off.” I flipped him the finger which only made them laugh. “Anyway, she’s avoiding me now. I don’t know what to do.”
The boys calmed down a bit and got serious with me. Finally, Ashton went first.
“First of all, why in the hell did you kiss her? Second, you should’ve stopped her or at least ran up to her. Thirdly, you say Robbie’s avoiding you but did you ever find a way to talk to her? Did you even try? And four, you, my friend, are an idiot.”
“Hey! I could’ve— “ I started to say but Michael interrupted me.
“I agree. You ARE an idiot, Calum. And it sounds like it’s your fault since you kind of just did it without her knowing. You practically assaulted her.”
“I didn’t ev—“
“Yeah. What if that was her first kiss? Did you ever consider her feelings, Calum? She must’ve been really surprised.” Luke joined in.
I stared at my band mates with squinted eyes.
“Are you all done? Can I speak now? And I asked for advice not a repeat on what I already know.” I said to them as soon as they stopped yapping.
Ashton sighed and told me, “Try to understand her, Calum. You just have to try. Robbie’s a great girl. She’ll understand you, too.”
I guess that makes sense. Ashton, Michael and Luke can be helpful sometimes. Even if they are total fucktards.
