"SHHHH!!!" I stood up and shushed them all the while pulling them inside and shutting the door behind us.

So there we were.

Ashton, Luke, Michael and me.

"Why is she leaving?"

"Is there a family emergency? Her aunt, maybe?"

"Is she okay?"

I held up my hands to try and stop their interrogation.

"Okay, guys. Guys! Robbie is fine. Her Aunt Marie is fine. She has to leave becuase of her book."

They all looked relieved.

"Listen, don't tell anyone, okay? We're the only ones who know." Luke said.

Michael and Ashton nodded.

Then Michael asked, "When is she planning on telling us?"

"It was supposed to be last night but she chickened out." I replied. "She must be overthinking things again."

"Well, how long is she going to be gone?" Ashton brought up.

"I don't know. According to what she told me, it might be up to 5 months. Or even a year."

"I wonder how Calum's going to react." Luke muttered.

We all nodded in agreement. Such news might break his heart. I mean, he brought her along the tour just to be with her. And now that she's leaving, I don't tknow what to think.

"Alright, here's what we shoud do. No one should bring the subject up. Pretend that you guys don't know about the think, okay? Then we'll just have to wait until Robbie tells us herself." I suggested to them.

"We should start on that plan now because I can hear Calum on his way here." Ashton quickly said, as he was the one nearest to the door.

"Quick, everybody! Act natural!" Michael shouted.

Then the door opened and revealed Calum, who looked at us with narrowed eyes.

"What's going on?" he asked.

Michael, who was stuffing his face with food from the table, shrugged and glanced our way. I was smushed between Luke and Ashton on the sofa and I was burning with embarrassment.

I mean, I'm literally between them.

"Nothing." I said. Only it came out as a squeak.

"Riiiight. Okay. You're all acting weird." he said. "Have you guys seen Robbie?"

We all shook our heads. And then when everything was going smooth, Luke decided to blurt out something.

"No. I haven't seen Robbie. No one has seen Robbie since this morning. None of us knows where she is. But she's certainly not in New York. No I haven't seen her at all."

Oh my God, Luke.

Calum continued to look at us suspiciously.

"I'm gonna go." he replied then left the room.

We all sighed of relief and I slapped Luke's arm.

"You are a terrible secret keeper. You just indirectly told him the secret!" I teased.

But he just giggled with Ashton, who winked at me when I glanced at him.

Then I looked over at Michael's and saw that he was staring at the 3 of us on the sofa with the same suspicious look as Calum.

Oh God. Not him, too.

******

It was difficult keeping a secret from Calum since all of his bandmates knew it, too. And they are such teriible liars. We're honestly just waiting for Robbie to tell us so it will be all out in the open and we can relax about it.
