Eros' POV.

2 weeks later...

“How's Chanelle?” Ate Brooke asked. Kagagaling ko lang sa kwarto ni bee to check if she's fine. Umupo ako katabi ni Ate Brooke sa sofa. “She's asleep. I guess she's fine.”

“She's not.” napa-sigh na lang ako. I'm frustrated as fuck. “You guess it's my fault?”

Ate Brooke already told me about the contract. She planned it with Joshua, that punk. Alam ko na rin yung about sa kanila ni Kieller, how can't I know about that?

“Don't blame yourself, Ate. Everything has a reason but it doesn't change the fact that asshole hurted my sister.”

“Calm down, bunso.”

How can I calm down? Maisip ko pa lang ang pangalan niya, nag-iinit na agad ulo ko.

Since that day, walang palya kung pumunta yung gagong Kiel na yun dito para magpaliwang kaya wala ring palya na araw-araw may suntok siyang nakukuha mula sa'kin.

Chanelle is always on her room but I never heard that she's crying. Naaabutan ko na lang na tulog siya or  nakatulala. I'm just thankful na kumakain siya sa tama unlike those brokenhearted women na kapag galing sa break up, akala mo naiwan sa mga ex nila yung pagkain nila kaya di makakain.

“What are you thinking?” napalingon ako kay Ate Brooke na nakangiti sa'kin.

“Nothing, Ate.” I chuckled. “What's with the smile?”

“You guys grown up too fast.” unti-unting nawala ang ngiti sa labi ko. “It's been awhile but that incident is still fresh in my memory.”

“Ate...”

“Why they have to go through this sht? They deserve to be happy. You guys deserve to be happy...”

I remained silent. And suddenly, those memories flushes on my mind.

Flashback...

“Oo naman, Kie! Pupunta kami diyan sa farm kasama sila kuya!” napalingon ako kay bee na may kausap sa telepono at mukhang masaya.

Kausap nanaman niya siguro si Kiel. “Rigel, son!” napaangat ang tingin ko kay dad na pababa ng hagdan kasama si mom. “Yes, dad?”

“Pwedeng mauna muna kayo kina Tita Krizel niyo? May emergency meeting kami sa company and me and your mom is needed there.”

Napatungo naman ako at tinawag si bee. “Saan po punta niyo, mom?” tanong ni bee.

My mom kisses her cheeks. “May emergency meeting lang si mom and dad kaya mauna muna kayo kina Tita Krizel and Tito Yvo, okay?” napalingon sa'kin si mom. “Take care of your sister, Eros.”

“Yes, mom.”

“We'll go first, kids. Your driver is already outside, get your things na. Behave! For sure, hinihintay na kayo ni Kiel.”

We just nodded at umakyat na para kunin ang gamit namin at lumabas na.

I saw the driver inside the car and he's quite familiar to me. Pero ang sabi sa'kin ni dad, bago daw ang driver namin. “Bee.”

“Yes, kuya? Let's go! Kie is already waiting for me.”

I walked closely to the car para makita ng maigi ang mukha ng driver and my eyes widened when I familiarize him.

He's the one who tried to kidnap bee before for ransom! “Sht! Bee, run!”

“What, kuya? Wh– Ouch!” I grabbed her and we both run outside and I saw him starting the car.
